On this thanksgiving day, I wish to give thanks to all the members of this site who share their knowledge and experiences from which I have and continue to benefit from greatly. Through all the bickering and drama that sometimes gets the better of us, this site continues to be of great value to me and has contributed immensely to my blackjack eduction and the mild success tht I have enjoyed in recent years. A heart warmed "thanks" to all and especially Ken and the Mods for their efforts to make it all possible. Wishing everyone warm wishes for a happy thanksgiving.

I would second it.

I started playing blackjack only a month back, I was always thinking that Casinos are for people who have lots of money to throw away. When my friends started discussing about Blackjack, I felt left over. But with the negative expectation and watching movies like 21 and Next about the treatment , I was reluctant as well. I started learning from various websites AP, BUT blackjack info and the Message Board is an unmatched knowledge base, experience speaks you know. You have references to the software, camo techniques, advises, tips using which I STARTED today with a small spread of 1-3 with a limited BR <500$ and came out real good. I know I have to be ready to expect the fluctuations and need to build the bankroll but It was a great start.

Thanks to our caring Creator and Provider for the gift of intelligence by which we can make a living, or just some extra bucks, counting cards. May He always lead us to the right table at the right time. Hopefully for many of us, today it was the dinner table to enjoy a holiday meal with family and friends.

I'm new to the game of blackjack and this website has been such a great resource with so much information that it is making my head spin. I hope I can one day get to the levels of some of the AP's that I see here.

It was a nice day here....My wife and i , and some friends went to crackerbarrel for dinner. It was nice.....First time we have ever went out to turkey dinner...
But....i can guarantee it will be the last time!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss the huge spread of food and all the dam family gettin in the way of each other trying to get at the food first.....:laugh:

Y stayed up half the night and got Thanksgiving dinner ready so us and our kids and the kid's kids could have an early 'lunch' Thanksgiving diner, pushing shoving and all that good stuff, lol.
then Y and i cut out early for the freebee Thanksgiving buffet at our local joint, made a few bucks too.
but yes, thanks to Ken, moderators and all who share.
thankful for all the good stuff that happened and thankful for the not so great stuff that didn't happen to moi & mine.
