hi all !

I have the choice between two game :

first : standard european rules (ENHC, DAS, Double any card, etc...) WITHOUT early abandon, but 5€ units minimum

Second : Same rules WITH early abandon but 10€ units minimum

>twice have the same penetration (about 75%)

So, what game give me the better ror / win per hour ? :o (and how/with what programm calcul it ?)

Play the game where you can abandon a bad hand. The opportunity to abandon a bad hand is worth more %age wise (0.39%)than the increase in the HE that results from EHBC rules (approx 0.11%) over a hole-card game. A game with surrender and the chance to insure against an ace is probably the best one you'll find in the whole of Europe - with a HE of just around 0.30%.

Hi Toxinity,

Penetration is one of the most important factors when game selecting. Since the penetration is the same for both games, we can ignore that. BTW, how many decks? S17 or H17? RSA?

Anyway, the rules for both games are the same... Except! the 10€ min game offers the player an additional option - early surrender. It should be obvious that the player's expectation (in units) at the 10€ will be the same or better than the 5€. If the option is -EV, the player will not use it and the expectation will be the same as the 5€. If the option becomes +EV, the player will use it and have better expectation.

We would require more information to evaluate your expectation and risk of ruin in both games. For example, your counting system, betting system and bankroll.

What is your bankroll? Although the 10€ is definitely better expectation, it may be suicidal for you to play if your bankroll is not sufficient.

I believe the CVCX programs are most popular and widely accepted. I own the Practice and Full Research suite, but there are also a lot of Free Counting Resources On Web. Books are probably the best source of the information you seek.

Sorry, i have forget to clarify it :o

So total rules :

-6 decks
-S17
-Aces split (but one card per ace only and one split only)
-double on any two card
-early surrender
-insurance
-double after split
-NO hole card

i have calculte (with http://www.qfit.com/blackjack-odds-calculator.htm)

With ES, it give me +0.212% advantage, and without : -0.417% ..

my bankroll is about 5000€ (1000 units without ES, 500 with ES). but maybe its not enough ?

I'm couting hi lo; and i follow the plan of don schlesinger in BJA3 for my betting system :

TC +1 or less : 1 units
TC + 2 : 2 units
TC + 3 :4 units
TC + 4 :6 units
TC + 5 & higher :two hands of 6 units, or if i cant play 2 hand : 8 units

but maybe it is not the best system to apply ?

like i'm playing with a small BR (for the moment .. :devil: ) i think that i can use a good spread without camouflage (understand this word ? lol)
