Incidentally, baccarat can be beatable with card counting too, if you can spread 1:5000 or more. EOR's are small but non-zero.

OK, I'll bite. Why would anyone want to waste an hour of their life listening to this. This is nothing but ploppy voodoo with advice like,

"look at who is winning at a table and bet that way, or look at who is losing and bet the opposite."

"baccarat is a game of streaks, trends, and patterns and you shouldn't buck the trend."

"I don't bet ties unless I see ties coming. It's all about the trends."

Maybe something meaningful came out later. I couldn't stand any more than 15 minutes.

Don't forget about David Sklansky's theory to beat baccarat. If all 2's and 3's remain in equal amounts, the Player will have an huge advantage. With only 7's and 8's left in equal amounts, the Banker will have the advantage.

Surprised that I have never come across D.S. referring to Baccarat.

Befuddled because your quote ignores the 4's, 5's, and 6's

I have done some card counting in baccarat - and it has always been my understanding that the 4's are the most crucial card when it come to the E.O.R. for the Bank hand; and that the 6 is quite important to the Player hand.

Am I mistaken here ?

Opinion on baccarat

A quote from a former blackjack player, now a successful baccarat 'method' player:

..."What I find real interesting, is that in the movie "21" they depict card counting as something that will generate an ADVANTAGE in a short period of time, which is almost NEVER the case. You have to sit at a table sometimes for two hours before the shoe even becomes marginally favorable to a counter.
