I experienced this one for the first time last night.

A guy sat down and played for awhile, and after listening to him and watching him play a few soft hands, I realized he was actually choosing between the 2 options he had for the hand.

Dealer: "7 or 17"
Player: "oh, 17"

Dealer: "You have an 8 or 18"
Player: "Okay 18"

I thought it was pretty funny!

i had a lot of people do this while dealing, id say like 9 or 19, then "ill take it as a 19 please and stand" its fairly common

especially people with like a soft 13 vs a dealer 4,5,6, instead of a hit, its "no ill take the 13 and stand"
