To the guy at the sweaty spaniard this morning

Why would they ask for your ID again at the cage...they already have it. And it won't take long for that to have serious repurcussions for you in Vegas and beyond, if you plan to do this for awhile and play any decent level.

You must be so cautious when you play that you have never been backed off and then went to the cage to cash out. If you are playing unrated and you get backed off you can expect that the cage has been called ahead or the phone will ring while you’re at the cage and they will ask for your ID and they will scan it.
And what does this have to do with my previous reply? You said they already checked your ID...show it once and you are done. If you ever show your ID FOR ANY REASON...you don't think a camera caught it? LOL
And no casino will ever "scan my ID" I can promise you that lol.

And I doubt that you know what you are talking about, or even really play BJ. Have you ever heard of OSN, Biometrica etc?
Yes I have and yes I do
Not full time like some on here but at least at a competent level as a counter spreading green

I still do have a lot to learn

Everyone knows the place is a sweatshop and kicks out way more players than it should

If a different casino sees something from the El Cortez about someone being a counter it's going to be looked at differently in most cases than the same notice from a place with a different reputation

I don't claim to be an expert but I think most would agree on that

To imply I must not play BJ because I have this viewpoint is really unfair

I'm always willing to learn both to improve my game on the felt and how casinos operate with regards to counters and I've definitely made mistakes along the way

Do you mean to say all listings in OSN for example are viewed the same way regardless of how they got put in there?

I also have a lot more confidence In place like the Aria being able to figure out who I am than than the El Cortez if they really wanted to do so

If you or someone else feels I'm wrong about this stuff I'd love to know why so I could improve my longevity

If I lived in Vegas or did this as a full time pro my approach would be different

For example I think kewlj said he plays there a few times a week
So I'm sure he might show his spread only once and leave and do other things to mask it better than me,where I'll go to Vegas a few times a year and try to hit each shift at least once per trip then I won't be there again for a few months minimum so it's easy for them to forget about me

El Cortez is not very active in reporting to the databases. They just do their own sweaty internal thing of backing off almost anyone.....for what that's worth....which results in very temporary consequences.

They still get it at the cage. That’s a fact. You can deal with being wrong or keep bitching. You have no experience in the matter.
You are under no obligation to show your ID at the cage, and they must cash you out.

That's true if it's not a native store. At those venues, you might as well be playing in a foreign country. All your rights are now in a grey area.

I don't know what your problem is, maybe reread posts as it seems you have issues with reading comprehension?
Nobody "gets my ID" at the cage, nor anywhere else in the casino. Blackjack 101. And I have plenty of experience thanks.

You have no experience giving ID so you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about. If you look young you show ID or you don’t play.
Yeah and that is a different topic all together. Maybe reread my posts for a third time or something. Try to understand the words.

Ok I guess I will try to help you, since you can't understand.
No all I said was why would they ask again at the cage, if they already saw it...you made up everything after that. Try to find your meds if your doctor is available.

1) I feel like for anyone who travels to Vegas a few times a year, Vegas back offs are pretty much inconsequential. I’ve been backed off from several Vegas casinos multiple times. Most of those casinos usually don’t recognize me several months later and I just keep recycling them.

2) El Cortez is not an active contributor to Bio or OSN as far as I know. I’ve seen my Bio profile once and I’ve seen several OSN profiles (including my own) and I’ve never seen EC update anyone. Plus, they’ve earned such a reputation for being such a sweatshop (regardless if that’s still true or not), so I don’t think many other properties would even take a local flyer from EC very seriously.

3) Being in Bio and OSN isn’t the end of the world. It’s annoying sometimes, but it won’t stop me from playing. I just finished up a trip where I got 35 hrs of play. I have at least 20 or 25 entries in both OSN and Bio, but I’m still getting time.
