So recently I've been practicing on my shuffle tracking techniques. It takes a lot more practice than just CC, but I seem to have improved greatly. My estimation on 2D is within 2-3 cards every time.
Today I took a drive to the casino and played for a few hours and had a pretty sh*te day. Just felt like I was getting rocked by every positive shoe, but that's just the price you pay sometimes.
Now I attempted to track slugs of tens, but nothing too drastic because I wasn't confident in my ability and I know the consequences can be severe. But during one round, 5 or 6 aces were dealt and put into the discard rack...luckily I estimated it to be exactly 2Decks. I kept with my regular game plan, but this time when the shuffle came, I payed particular attention to it. I had a general idea of where the aces lay and I cut the deck so they wouldn't be behind the cut card.
Well, after 10 rounds and completely forgetting about the aces, I saw 3 of them come out of the shoe in one round and realized the Aces that I had attempted to track were coming out. The next round I upped my bet, not much because of the confidence thing. Sure enough I draw an ace (I was playing 2 hands), but don't get blackjack and I think I actually lost on both hands. Kinda sucked, but I was pretty happy with my "fuzzy" attempt at tracking these cards.
Gotta keep practicing, but I feel if I combine the ST and CC together, the casinos will be running around in circles trying to figure out what is happening. Great thread tho on shuffle tracking below.
