yes, I agree. I think there was a personality conflict on that other forum and KJ was outnumbered, lost his cool. It is impossible for me to understand how it got so bad between KJ and the forum owner.

However, I did appreciate KJ's willingness to share so much of his philosophies, his playing records and approaches.

I plan on squeezing in a 1-2 trip to the other side of the state where I understand there are 2-3 playable casinos.
Zee, I'm assuming here by "the other side of the state" you mean Kansas City, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I have been think of making a trip there myself, but so far the costs to do so look to exceed expected winnings. If you do go I would appreciate a trip report. You can do it here or Norm's site or BJ21 or just private message me at BJ21 or Norms site if you feel it is too sensitive.

I have done some research into KC already, and if I make a trip it won't be until spring.

Might drive down and play 3-5 hours this Sunday. Will let you know.

Zee, don't do this to yourself. Don't specify any date. Say something like planning on making a trip soon or in the near future.

If you do make a trip, I hope you plan on making it for more than 3 to 5 hours. No way would I drive that far for so little blackjack play.

The drive is about 4 hours from home. After that, it depends on how I do. If I am up $1k or thereabouts, I might just drive back the next morning. If I am in a hole, may stay there another day.

I love being at home with my kid and if I have recouped cost of trip plus a bit, I'd rather be home. He is 15, and at that stage where he loves my company and looks up to me. Who knows how long it will last? Soon, friends or a girl friend will develop and he will prefer their company. At that time, I will devote more time to trips.
