Underage gambling in vegas

So my friends and I are all under 21 and we're about to make a trip to vegas to have some fun. We're mainly going to do other stuff rather than gambling but i'd like to know if we can pull it off at the blackjack tables (we're about 18-19 years old). And What would happen if we get caught?:eek:

You are better off meeting up with a few older APs. Give them your money and meet them back at Dennys.. Your good to go..

This topic comes up all the time.

You will get arrested, probably lose your drivers licenses and get criminal records too. That is unless you lose all your money and leave before this happens. It is in no sense of the word a desirable course of action.

But what do I know, I'm just a monkey. You want to do it anyway.

If your false ID gives you the name Papageorgio, the casino will immediately toss you.

If you do decide to play, make sure you get someone older to cash your chips in for you.

Here are the four stituations that happen

Here are the situations that can happen to you.
1. You go to buy in the dealer checks your idea and kicks you out right there with any recourse this is one of your best situations.
2. The dealer doesn't card you play for a little while and win you go to cash out at the cage and the cashier cards you and confiscates your chips for being under age and calls the cops on you and arrest you for underage gambling.
3. You don't get carded and lose all your money at the tables anyways and walk away a loser this is one of your better options.
4. You don't get carded you grind out a .5% edge cash out a mild winer and don't get bugged by the cage people either. If you win to much money they will card you for sure no matter how old you are.


Even your best situation is not a great situation and your bad situations are really bad. The casino might even be more likely to check your ID if you are winning and cause trouble for you when you are winning. If you win you are hassled by the casino if you lose you lost your money and are broke either way it is a lose, lose for you.

man in BC i had a friend who would underage gamble here and across the border all the time regarless if he won or lost the worst thing that happened he would get kicked out

Why would a casino do anything more extensive than that to a kid that snuck in and gambled? You'd think they'd just throw their ass out and be done with it.

Probably they'd just throw you out, because they don't want to have to admit that they allowed someone who was underage to gamble. Kind of like how poker cheats don't usually get prosecuted, because the casino would have to admit that there was a cheat in their game.

Perhaps because they can lose their license if they get caught allowing it.They take it so serious because the penalty for not taking it serious is draconian.The Borgata just got fined $105,000 for letting a twenty year old play BJ before carding him and kicking him out.They also were fined a seperate $75,000 for allowing a couple of underage persons into a nightclub,and the security manager was fined $1,000 by the state and suspended two weeks by the casino for not notifying Gaming Control in a timely manner.

Yes, it's similar to the hysteria about underage drinking, isn't it?

They claim it's to prevent drunken driving, but I'm not sure about that. I knew what it was like to be passed out drunk before I was old enough to drive, and by the time I got my license stupid behavior with alcohol was no longer interesting. Maybe all of these draconian rules are going in the wrong direction.

Underage rules have more to do with brain development than drinking. The human brain isn't fully developed in your teens. The last part to develop controls inhibitions and understanding of consequences. A teen intellectually understands the consequences of actions, but is less likely to act accordingly. Now a monkey's brain probably develops more quickly. IMO kids shouldn't drive until they're 58.
