Video poker

Hello,
I have a question regarding the advantage that it's able to be obtained in video poker. Let me start off by saying that I know that this is a BJ forum so sorry for going off topic. Secondly, I understand the general concept of how value is generated in Video poker. I understand that the house comps you much for your play through the form of mailers and free play. My question is: where does the glitch occur? We know that casinos Comp about 20 to 33 percent of the players theoretical loss do where does the mistake occur? What causes them to give back more than 20 to 30 percent of the players theoretical loss and to go over 100 percent? Especially after taxes. Paying 20 percent of every 1200 dollar royal must add up quickly.

Video poker games have a wide variety of pay tables, some of which return close to 100% and a very few rare games which return more than 100% when played perfectly. Many casinos award cash-back and free play for video poker at a fixed rate regardless of which game you are playing. Casinos also often have days where your points are multiplied. Usually 2x, but sometimes 3x or more. They will also often send mailers, as you have mentioned, offering more free play or other incentives which may be of value to you. There are also some progressive games which are worth playing when the jackpots are high enough.

When considered all together, these things can sometimes be enough to make video poker a winning proposition, although the general consensus seems to be that these opportunities are now fewer than they once were.

See...this kind of nonsense is why you are not taken seriously on this forum.
