we played a few shoes last night and had a few insurance bet oppertunities

The First Game was

Player one bet 2 chips/ $2
Player two also bet 2 chips/ $2

first round
Dealer had a face up Ace card.
and bough players had something cant remember but they bought took the insurance bet out of the 1$, and several hits and they bough went bust! The dealer revealed his hand and it was a 10, and along with the Ace he had black jack

Is the payout the same hear as before? They bough win the insurance bet of $2 a total of $3 keeping the original $1 bet. But loose the $2 original bet because they went bust?

The second game was

Player one bet 2 chips/ $2
Player two also bet 2 chips/ $2

first round
Dealer had a face up Ace card
Player one had 10 and a 6, total 16 and took the $1 insurance out and stood!
Player 2 had an A and a 7 a total of 18 and took the insurance out and stood!

Dealer revealed hand and it was another Ace (valued at 11) and plus the original Ace (valued at 1) a total of 12.
Dealer took another card and it was a queen, so along with the other 2 Aces (which will now be valued at 1 each) so it was still a 12!
Dealer took another card and it was a 9. So along with the 2X Aces and the Queen dealer now has 21. So dealer wins

Since the dealer did not have a black jack. do bough players again loose there insurance bet? and since they lost anyway they lost there inital $2 bet meaning that they lost everything that they bet?

The 3rd game was played

The first round was drawn
Dealer had a face up A
Player one had a 5 and a 5 a total of 10 and took the insurance bet of $1 out and hit!
Player two had a 5 and a queen a total of 15 and took the insurance bet out of $1 and hit!

Player one was delt a 3 and with the 5 and 5 a total of 13 and hit!
Player one was delt a King and wit the 5 and 5 and 3 a total of 23 and went bust

Player two was delt a 4 and with a 5 and a queen a total of 19 and stood

Dealer then draw another card and it was a 7 and with the Ace (valued at 1) a total of 18 and stood!

So dealer did not have the black jack and since bough players took the insurance bet out, meaning that they where betting on the dealer having a black jack they bough loose there insurance.

Where player one went bust on the dealer, they loose the initial $2 bet. meaning they loose the entire $3 that they bet

Where player two stood on the 19 they beet the dealer because the dealer had 18. So (as with player one) they loose there insurance bet of $1. But beet the dealer so they win $2 from the inital bet and keep there original $2 meaning they have come away with $4. where they started with $3. they win $1 in total right?
