You talking about BVUGrad2003?
no. that's not it. The word 'card' was in his name like cardplayer2003 or something like that. I can't quite remember. he was posting fairly recently. Last I remember staying at one of the north vegas casinos every monday because they had some kind of weekly monday promotion. He was playing a lot of video blackjack. Claimed he has lived in comped rooms for two years now.

so almost 2 months. Wonder if he busted out and went home. Or worse, being that he was spending time up in north vegas.

sevencard is a "legend" on a poker website. He has a huge following on his blog, including myself as a loyal reader. Tony (aka sevencard) has autism. He disclosed this himself in his blog. Recently, he has taken a huge hit in his bankroll by playing these BJ machines. This seems to be a trend for him. He thinks that he gets an advantage, without any real evidence to prove it. He also blamed people on "another forum" for not helping him with the rules and proper bankroll management to beat these machines. I found this to be in bad form. I have found this site to be very helpful over the last couple of years, but would never take anything I read as absolute truth without a little doing a little research on my own. Please to not be offended by anything that Sevencard might post. Please also understand, that he has a 125 page blog full of advice that he ignores. You may think that by posting to stay of the machines, he will do that, but it just won't happen. I won't post the site his blog is on, but if you happen to find it, read it and you will understand. He really just struck a nerve with me about not getting help on this site because I find that most posters on here provide quality info and really want to help.

I once spent 3 weeks working a game with a couple who lived in a comped room for months at the casino. It was a good three weeks and then the game was gone. Too bad I only caught the tail end of it. It's pretty cool to see the art to this, but there isn't room for a lot of people to do this and you need the bankroll to outlast the others.

DC, i hear they are still staying in rooms, but having to move alot now. Also not making anywhere near the money they were. Possible they could be broke by now. Hasn't been a good game like that one for quite a while.
Bankroll baby, its all about the bankroll, the bankroll is the power!!!!

He seems like a forkin' genius to me:

"Is it possible to be asain and still be a solid player? Unlike many guys i dont like asain women dealers their accent and constant use of the word sir instead of being warm and friendly calling me by name is annoying as hell."

I didn't want to start a new thread, but speaking of what happened too...... What ever happened to ExGriffinman? I missed the guest chat and saw a couple posts afterward and then to my knowledge he ghosted. Did we loose our Benedict Arnold?

I wouldn't be surprised if they were. Their spending habits always seemed crazy to me, but the money flowed in so much at the time that it didn't matter. They actually called me a couple months ago asking if I knew of any good games to go to.
