I normally go from one hand to two hands when the true count reaches +4. At +5 and higher I put my maximum bet in two squares. I would like to know when it is best to go from one hand to two hands. I would think that it would be a good idea anytime that the player had an advantage, but the casinos I've played in will only allow me to play two hands if I'm playing double the minimum bet in each square. Also, when is a good time to go to three squares? To play three squares I would have to bet fives times the table minimum.
