Winnings: Blackjack vs non-BJ

Hey guys, based on the recap below, the sport-guys came way ahead of BJ-guys in winnings. I bumped into some interesting posts and decided to recap the winning results for your perusal. These APs caught my attention:

AP#7: He's a well known poster, quits blackjack completely, and makes money in poker.
AP#10: He's well known for his math, but lost $20,000 playing BJ.
AP#12: This football-Einstein made $374,000 for the year---more than all the BJ-APs combined.
Hmmm--- What do you guys think? Is it time to switch from blackjack to non-BJ (poker or sports)?

Most BJ games are so bad that you cannot beat them as a CC. I don't play those games.

I agree with the above.

But I also know of BJ games that can bring in $10,000 a month with not alot of effort.

I completely agree. This seems rather silly to me as you have a very very tiny and seemingly incomplete sampling skewed by one particular and extremely large result.

Online gambling is not illegal in the US. Well, the Bush Feds tried to claim it is but the law does not really support them. They did pass a law in 06 which made it illegal for banks or credit card companies to send money to or from an internet casino. This caused most of the internet casinos to stop accepting customers form the US. If you are worried about playing internet poker from the US, I would not be.

Wow...that is impressive. I'm not a pro at poker, but I am a lot better in real settings win wise vs online. I have coined the term "pokerstarred" into my vocabulary for a situation where you are ahead pre, post flop, well ahead 4th street, and a miraculous hail mary for "not you" comes on the river. Sure you can call it being "rivered" but after the 50,000th time on pokerstars, I felt it needed more pizzazz, more meaning.

If you want to share, can you name some sites you feel are unbiased as far as poker games and results you get similiar to real life?
