In all likelihood, we are going to see 6 deck DOA NS H17 games with 75% pen there. This is pretty much the standard for Penn National casinos.
 
Guess I won't be playing there. Why don't casinos implement S17, DA2, DAS, LS, RSA? If they give good rules, business will pick up!
 
I called to get some information. Here's what I found:

Some tables will be S17, others will be H17, 8 decks on the floor, 6 in the high roller rooom, DAS, DOA, no surrender and no re-splitting aces.

I forgot to ask if they're going to use CSMs though.

Saving two and a half hours driving time goes into my assessment of the game, whatever they decide. Also, being able to return home on a daily basis without hardship is very attractive. It is the same distance for me as Pahrump, NV is to Las Vegas--one hour. :)
 
Also they're going to be charging 10% up to $7 for rake in poker. Here's a screen shot of their bj table.

sounds like the same rules as Mountaineer park in Chester, WV.

8 decks main floor, 6 decks in the high limit room. All of Mountaineer is S17, DAS, DOA, no surrender and replitting aces.

Other poster had to mean ASM, there will not be CSM.

I saw no CSM for BJ tables. Only ASM and hand shuffle. I didn't see S17, but with 42 tables I didn't get to read each felt, plus you couldn't get near them before they opened for business so mostly you had to look from a distance.
 
I'm heading there today, from what I hear it's been pretty chaotic (but expected). Blackjack tables were apparently $100 games.

Charlestown is only an hour away, but it sounds like I'll still play in AC (more than 3 hours away) until the table limits are under control.

I plan to head to Charlestown today to experience this first hand. Will report back later.

They had 25, 50 and 100. But two or three hours into a 25 table they raised it to 50 with no grandfathering.

A "suit" told me they plan to have $10 tables when they are fully open.
 
It was a total circus there apparently. I'm not sure who's brilliant idea it was to open up on 7/4 weekend when you only had 5 poker tables running and about the same number of bj tables lol. Here's a pic of just how crazy it was there.

It was definitely a circus! But that augurs well for its competitive effect on AC. DP was disappointing when I read about their being predominantly CSMs, but CT seems like it will be the real thing. I hope double deck makes it there as rumored.
 
I was out there late this morning, it was still a disaster. Four tables open, all $50 or higher, at least one deep at all spots. I'll reserve judgment until they get their act together, but it's clear that they were not prepared to go live this weekend.
