Spent the day at xxxDoverDownsxxx in xxxDelawarexxx. Decent 6-deck games, S17, 75% pen or better. Pleasant casino. Take the wife as there is lots of nearby shopping while you ply your trade. Lady APs, it's a twofer, blackjack and shop til you drop. they also have their own hotel for which you will receive room comp offers in the mail after your first visit. Nicely located just two hours from Northern Virginia, probably half an hour from xxxWilmingtonxxx. One hour from xxxAnnapolisMdxxx. Won $450 blackjack, $300 playing some stupid EBAY slot as a relaxer, then converted $50 birthday slot play into $50 cash via Deuces Wild VP. Not a slot player, but occasionally I'll throw a dollar at it just to wind down from a long bj session. Especially like JOB 9/6, but no such machine at this casino.

I found the same when I went to visit last month. Just got my free room offer, was surprised, it includes $120 MP as well. During the week, all the tables were $10 limits as well, never a problem getting a seat, it only got busy around 5:30p. They even let you bet 2 circles without doubling the minimum bet, if you so wish.

Very nice rule-set and play ($10). Its a bit far for me, and I have generally speaking retired to give elderly parents some help.

Weren't all the tables on the main floor CSMs? They were when I dropped by this summer. HL room had no CSMs that I saw.

I went to Dover Downs the day after Veteran's Day during mid-day. They had two tables open and I promptly lost $200. Shoulda went to the baccarat table sooner.

I did not see any CSMs there.

I only had one to deal with, but I know from that experience that you have your hands full and then some! You will never regret one minute of the time and help you give them.

I'm surprised, I was there the Wed before Veterans Day and they had 10 tables open all day. No CSMs, though I did notice ASMs at the $25 tables (NMSE).

Are you sure it was xxxDoverDowns, not xxxDelawareParkxxx or xxxHarringtonxxx? At xxxDoverDownsxxx they use ASMs. The other two do have many CSMs, and DP has only CSMs at certain times.

I had ASMs at the $10 tables I played. It probably varies.

I unfortunately, never stayed past one shoe, so I never noticed whether they had ASMs at the BJ tables. ;) I did play SP21 there, and they use ASMs, so I assume the same at the regular tables. Was the first time I was told not to bother to color up too.

Yes, of course, it was DP, never been in the state capital.

DP 8D hand shuffle upstairs

DP removed CSM all upstairs tables. In exchange, they made the game 8D instead of 6d and the pen is worse, commonly 2d. At their main first floor it only offers CSM games. HL room all hand shuffled, 3 table 6D $50-$100 min and 1 table 8D (yes, 8D) $50 min. 2D pen or worse. The max is either $1000 or $2000. Only positive is that they offer RSA and LS.

The LS is for all games, right? Not just the HL room. And 75% pen is not unbeatable. The LS makes up for a lot. Was it S17?

The rules are the same in and out the HL room. 2D pen means 75% for 8D, not for 6D HL tables. Yes, I will still play those game but not as good as it was used to be, or those games that is currently offered in PA. PS. Dover Downs doesn't offer LS.

I went there for the first time recently on a Sunday and they had 10 min/6 deck all around. Most of the time it was either heads up play or 1 other person. This is by far the best place I've played at on the east coast. Penetration was a little more then 1 deck. If anyone knows of any other 6 deck games at low limits let me know!
