John Crover, why would you make such a post? Don't be one of these guys that is always starting trouble and stirring the pot.

I am competing with no one except myself. Ok, I do sort of like to finish a head of my younger brother because the one year that he caught some strong variance and made a little more than me...well lets just say he didn't let me forget it. But other than that, I am competing with no one except myself and my own expectations and goals.

I can't speak for ZK, but I hope he feels similarly. I only know ZK from interactions on forums and things I read and hear from others that know him. It doesn't seem he puts in the hours or rounds that I do. Why should he. He puts in the play that he wants and that's the way it should be.

I know he struggles with the swings and hasn't mastered dealing with the variance involved with card counting. And I think that is part of him playing less at times. Strictly as an observer from afar, I think he is doing just fine. I think it is 3 years now, spring of 2017? since he packed up and drove to Las Vegas and he has supported himself from card counting for 3 years now! Yeah, some, ok make that a lot of complaining along the way, but 3 years of supporting himself from blackjack play just as he set out to do. :) So good for him....good for you ZK! ;)

Now if we were to do a fair comparision, based on equal amounts of play and similar playing stakes, I have no doubt ZK would win, because I heard or read somewhere....that he is the greatest card counter that ever lived. And I can't compete with that. I am just a lowly grinder card counter, using the simple techniques I have learned from everyone else, to do my thing at my modest amounts. AND that is just the way I want it.

KJ. Not because of playing style. ZK is either too lazy or paranoid to actually play, and sticks out like a sore thumb when he does.
I am guess you know ZK personally, as many in Vegas now do (are you in Vegas these days?), and as I said, I don't know him personally. But I'll tell you one thing he does and I don't that is very detrimental to his bottom line....and I have discussed this with him.

I don't think there is a great deal of cheating going on by casinos and/or dealers. Every time I have a losing session, I don't immediately think "cheating". :D But as you know, I do believe I have experiences a very select few incidents of cheating over the years and I have said so about one in particiular.

So the point is, whether the incidents that I feel I was cheated are real or not.....they are!, (<- look explanation mark and then comma....that can't be correct Don or 21forme), so anyway we all have a location that for whatever reason we feel uncomfortable about playing. And that probably includes just really bad, but normal negative variance. So for whatever reason, if I have a casino, or even individual dealer that I feel uncomfortable with, I avoid playing at that casino or with that dealer. I don't take it personally and set out to prove anything either way. ZenKing does. He has stated several locations that he beleives are cheating him and he keeps returning time and time again, trying to prove something....what I have no idea? o_O

Actually, OK, but a bit awkward. Would have looked better like this: So the point is, whether the incidents that I feel I was cheated are real (they are!) or not, ...
