Can you fund an online casino with Cash App?
Not directly. No casino we list has a Cash App button in its cashier, and the reason sits in Cash App's own rules: its Acceptable Use Policy lists gambling among the things you may not use the app for, with an exception only for legal activity with merchants that Cash App and its banking partners have approved. Offshore casinos are not on that list, so none of them can take a Cash App payment the way they take a card.
There are still two working routes between Cash App and a casino, and they lead to different sets of casinos.
| MatchPay trade | Bitcoin bought in Cash App |
| Where it works | Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv, the four casinos above | Any casino that accepts Bitcoin |
| How the money moves | You pay another player in Cash App, and the casino credits your account | You send bitcoin from Cash App to the casino's deposit address |
| Per deposit | $10 to $2,000 per trade | Up to $5,000 per deposit at the four casinos above |
| Tasse | MatchPay charges nothing | Cash App's bitcoin purchase fee, plus a network fee if you pick a fast send |
| Back to Cash App | Yes, through the same trade in reverse | Yes, to your Cash App bitcoin address, then sell for dollars |
Route 1: a MatchPay trade at the four casinos above
MatchPay is a trading platform built into the cashier at Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv. You buy account credits from a player who wants to cash out, and you pay that person in Cash App. All four casinos name Cash App in their own help centers as one of the apps a trade can settle in, alongside PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay and Chime.
How to deposit with Cash App through MatchPay
- Nella sezione "Cassa" del casinò, scegli "Deposito" e seleziona "MatchPay".
- On your first trade, tap Join Now and create a MatchPay ID and password. MatchPay checks your email and phone number, and the ID cannot be changed later.
- Create an order for the amount you want and tick Cash App, plus any other app you can pay from. More apps means more players you can be matched with.
- MatchPay matches you with a seller, and a chat opens so the two of you can settle the details.
- Pay the seller in Cash App. Once they confirm the money arrived, the credits land in your casino balance.
How to withdraw to Cash App through MatchPay
- Seleziona "Prelievo" nella sezione "Cassa" e scegli MatchPay.
- Una volta che il casinò avrà approvato il prelievo, crea un'offerta per l'importo presente nel tuo conto MatchPay.
- A player who wants to deposit is matched with you and pays you in Cash App.
- Confirm you received the money, and the trade closes.
All four casinos publish the same MatchPay withdrawal limits: $10 to $2,000 a trade, and two withdrawals a day. Bovada, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv publish the same $10 to $2,000 range for deposits. Depending on your account status, a casino may cap MatchPay deposits at three attempts a day.
Check the welcome offer before you choose this route. Bovada, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv say their welcome bonuses do not apply to MatchPay deposits unless the bonus terms say otherwise. Ignition says MatchPay deposits currently qualify for its welcome bonus, and that this may change.
Only pay the player MatchPay matched you with, inside the trade. Bovada's help center warns of scammers posing as staff who ask players to cancel a withdrawal and send the money to a particular username, and says it will never ask you to transfer funds to one.
Route 2: buy bitcoin in Cash App and send it to the casino
This is the route that opens up far more casinos. Cash App lets you buy bitcoin and send it to any outside bitcoin address, and a casino's Bitcoin deposit address is just that. So any casino on our Bitcoin casinos list can be funded from Cash App, not only the four above.
How to deposit with bitcoin from Cash App
- Verify your identity in Cash App. Buying bitcoin requires it: your legal name, date of birth and the last four digits of your SSN or ITIN, and sometimes a photo ID.
- Buy bitcoin: open the Money tab, tap the Bitcoin tile, tap Buy and choose the amount. If you pay from a linked bank account, that bitcoin cannot leave Cash App until the bank transfer settles.
- In the casino cashier, choose Bitcoin (BTC) as your deposit method and copy the address the cashier shows for this deposit rather than reusing an old one.
- Back in Cash App, open the Bitcoin tile, choose to send bitcoin, and paste or scan the casino's address.
- Enter the amount, pick a speed, and confirm. The first time, Cash App may ask for some extra personal details.
- The casino credits your balance once the bitcoin network confirms the payment. That usually takes one confirmation, and up to six when the network is busy.
Cash App gives you three speeds for a bitcoin send, and the choice decides the fee.
| Velocità | Arrives within | Cash App fee | Smallest send |
| Standard | 24 ore | Gratuito | 0.001 BTC |
| Rush | 2 hours | Network fee plus up to $2 | 0.00005 BTC |
| Priority | 10 minutes | Network fee plus up to $3 | 0.00005 BTC |
Buying the bitcoin costs extra. Cash App charges 2% on purchases from $1 to $499, 1.5% from $500 to $999, 0.9% from $1,000 to $1,999 and nothing from $2,000 up, and its price can include a spread of up to 0.75%. Every fee is shown on the confirmation screen before you commit.
Two faster or simpler variations are worth knowing:
- Lightning. Cash App can pay over the Lightning Network, which is close to instant, up to $999 every 7 days. All four casinos above list Bitcoin Lightning among their deposit options. Pay from your Bitcoin balance rather than your Cash balance to avoid Cash App's 0.9% Lightning processing fee. Lightning is not available to Cash App customers in New York.
- USDC. Cash App can also send US dollars as the stablecoin USDC, with no Cash App fee, on Solana, Ethereum, Polygon or Arbitrum. Sends are capped at $2,000 a day and $5,000 a week. It only works at a casino that takes Moneta USD on the same network, and the four casinos above take Tether, not USDC.
A bitcoin send cannot be undone. Cash App says payments to outside wallets cannot be reversed, so check the address before you confirm. Cash App's bitcoin wallet only handles Bitcoin (BTC), not Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin SV. Those are different coins with different addresses, and sending one to the other's address loses the money.
Getting your winnings back into Cash App
With MatchPay, the withdrawal steps above put dollars straight into Cash App. With bitcoin, it takes two steps.
- In Cash App, turn on bitcoin deposits if you have not already, then open the Bitcoin tile, tap Deposit bitcoin and copy your address. Cash App gives you a new address after each deposit, so copy it fresh every time. Bovada and Ignition both ask for an address that has never been used before.
- In the casino cashier, request a Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawal to that address. Once approved, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv say BTC payouts arrive in about 15 minutes; Bovada and Ignition say up to 24 hours.
- Sell the bitcoin in Cash App (Money tab, Bitcoin tile, Sell) and the dollars go to your Cash balance. Moving them to your bank is free and takes 1 to 3 business days, or 0.5% to 1.75% for an instant transfer to your debit card.
Watch one ceiling. Cash App accepts up to $10,000 of incoming bitcoin in any 7 day period. The casinos above will pay out far more than that in a week, so a large win either comes back to Cash App over several weeks or goes to a different bitcoin wallet first.
Selling bitcoin also creates paperwork. Cash App issues a Form 1099-DA for bitcoin sales and files a copy with the IRS.
Fees and limits in one place
| MatchPay trade | $10 to $2,000, no MatchPay fee, two withdrawals a day |
| Cash App sending limit | $1,000 per 30 days until you verify your identity; up to $40,000 per 30 days once verified |
| Bitcoin purchase | 2% under $500, falling to 0% from $2,000, plus a spread of up to 0.75% |
| Bitcoin send | Free at Standard speed (0.001 BTC minimum); network fee plus up to $2 or $3 for Rush or Priority |
| Bitcoin deposit at the casinos above | From 0.0001 BTC up to $5,000 per deposit; no casino fee |
| Bitcoin coming into Cash App | Up to $10,000 in any 7 days |
| Fulmine | Up to $999 every 7 days |
Your own bitcoin sending limits depend on your account. Cash App shows them under Profile, then Limits. On the casino side, Bovada, Ignition and Cafe Casino require every deposit to be wagered in full before you can withdraw.
Know Cash App's position before you start. Cash App lists gambling among the reasons it deactivates accounts. A deactivated account can no longer send or receive money, buy bitcoin or use the Cash App Card, though you can still withdraw your remaining cash and sell bitcoin you hold. Either route here carries that risk, and it is yours to weigh.
Which route suits you

Other ways to pay from the US
If you already hold money in another app, the same MatchPay trade works with Venmo, Zelle e Chime, and ticking more than one app speeds up your match. Bovada and Slots.lv only settle Zelle trades on business days. If you would rather skip the app entirely, buying Bitcoin on an exchange and sending it to the casino works the same way as Route 2.
Domande frequenti
Which online casinos accept Cash App?
None take it as a direct payment. Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv accept it through MatchPay, where you pay another player in Cash App. Any casino that accepts Bitcoin can also be funded with bitcoin bought in Cash App.
Can I withdraw casino winnings to Cash App?
Yes. Through MatchPay, a player who wants to deposit pays you in Cash App, from $10 to $2,000 a trade and up to two withdrawals a day. Or have the casino send bitcoin to your Cash App bitcoin address and sell it for dollars, within Cash App's limit of $10,000 of incoming bitcoin per 7 days.
How much does it cost?
A MatchPay trade costs nothing. Buying bitcoin in Cash App costs up to 2% plus a spread of up to 0.75%, and sending it is free at Standard speed or a network fee plus up to $3 at Priority speed. The four casinos above charge no fee on bitcoin deposits.
How long does a Cash App bitcoin deposit take?
It depends on the speed you pick: within 10 minutes at Priority, 2 hours at Rush, or 24 hours at Standard. The casino credits you once the network confirms the payment. Lightning payments arrive almost instantly, up to $999 every 7 days.
Can I send Tether or Bitcoin Cash from Cash App?
No. Cash App handles Bitcoin (BTC) and the stablecoin USDC only. Sending a coin Cash App does not support, or using the wrong network, loses the money for good.
Can Cash App close my account for gambling?
Yes. Cash App names gambling as one of the reasons it deactivates accounts, and its Acceptable Use Policy only allows legal gambling with merchants it has approved. A deactivated account can still withdraw its cash and sell its bitcoin, but cannot send or receive money.
