I envy anyone that can card count properly (I can count or I can play, not both at the same time yet ;) ), but really counting IS against the spirit of the game. It is not legally cheating, I don't know if it is morally cheating or not, but it DOES break the spirit of the game as it was intended.

Yup, from what I understand counting increases your odds a lot, but there is still the chance that you might lose, and you don't want those losing chances to be when you put half of your bank roll in. Someone else here said on another thread, the longer you can last with big bets the better.

Coupons are cool, although you really have to work for them at my casino. You have to cut out paper coupons from the newspaper, then you have to eat at the buffet (which is like 15 dollars American, a lot for a kid like me ^_^), THEN they give you your 5 dollar coupon for every person that ate...

So many things could have gone wrong with that, I would have been a nervous wreck. I probably would have barfed half way through, which wouldn't have looked too good at all : ( Unless someone needed me to barf to distract the pit boss, then I'm your man, ha!

At my city casino you can use the 2.50 chips on most tables, as my casino is crazy big on side bets :(

Does blackjack have its own chips, don't they just use the casino standard? And the casino standard would depend on the highest value games, my local casino doesn't have anything over 500 dollar chips, at least on the general floor, because the highest value games are 2000 dollars, for all games...
