Does this basic strategy chart (generated from the Basic Strategy Engine on this website) govern play only for player hands comprised of the first two cards dealt to the player or does "Your Hand" refer to your hand total adding the value of all of your cards beyond just the first two?

thanks but i don't think it is nonsense. i have had good win streaks several times and the order of the cards was just perfect and then it gets messed up with the extra burn card, which yes you admit can mess it up. just wondering if you think they mess up the order of the cards on purpose...

Anyone think there is anything to the theory that a casino may send another dealer to a table when a player is having a good win streak so the new dealer can burn a card and change the order of the cards coming of out of the shoe? I swear it happens and it seems like that extra burn card...

Here's one for you smart math folks: I would never double on a blackjack (3:2) but what would the math say about the move? I mean the likelihood of getting a ten value card and winning double my bet vs taking the 3:2 payout on the original hand - assuming no information about deck composition...

How about mini baccarat and betting on the bank? Many of you guys know better than I do the math on that one - just a suggestion. Hey, no reference to "ploppies" or a "store" or other gratuitous jargon!

Agreed (except gratuitous "-EV") completely that it is garbage except I'm not wasting any money on a roulette number either. As an aside, I'm always tickled when people betting it at the table and losing repeatedly point to my empty side betting circle when my blackjack hand "would have" won...

not sure what you mean by style of play and yes i know a good half of the basic startegy chart, other half a little shaky. sometimes too i want to maybe move to another table or leave but get stuck waiting for a drink and then always seem to get a double or split while waiting and lose, end up...
