    $10, $10, $10, 2x$250, 2x$250, 2x$250

Nice stuff, well played. I was once on a 2 day trip to Reno on a comped bus tour. Spent the first day going snowmobiling then on my second evening I spread 15-250 at the El Dorado double deck. Sat for about 4 shuffles betting min then I bet 2x250 on a +6 TC. Won 6 big bets by the next...

    Better BJ player

Are you thinking that you act second every alternate hand? This is not poker, where you have a rotating button. In blackjack, third base is ALWAYS in position. Betting minimum to start with is a good strategy. Once your boss gets to 3750, you must start playing aggressively. Remember...

    Wonging In

with $380, I think you are more likely to bust than not, assuming a minimum bet of $10.

    split 44 or double?

following the double index is usually better. especially if you play a system where 7s are counted as a negative, because with 44v5 and 44v6 you want the deck to be 7 rich because they bust/stiff the dealer and make you an 11. hi-lo tends to favour doubling indexes anyway

    Reading indices

an index number is the true count above which you will stand instead of hit, you will double instead of hit, you will surrender instead of anything else, and you will split instead of anything else*. *a couple of exceptions may apply to spilts you will double 11vA when TC > 0

Seeking more blackjack advice. Also some rants.

seriously consider getting out of the USA and playing poker

    Beating 6:5

they are simply a specific application of index plays. use hi-opt I or II with 30 indicies and you can just toss them out. especially if you use a block count of 7s and 8s with hi opt 1

    Halves or Zen?

for an 8 decker definitely hi-lo. especially if indexes go over your head start with 30 indices or so. if you're gonna be flying, can't you do any better than an 8-decker? you're not going to make more than 1 unit an hour there

    Even money v. Insurance

it shouldn't matter if playing 6:5 BJ try to take even money try to take even money and then buy insurance if the count is favourable

    keeping it simple

why can't a person using a level two hi - opt with side count aces and side count sevens [as an extreme example] use the methods of wonging aggressively and leaving after a positive shoe? you make "simple" look good due to FRAMING it as either: hi-lo & I18 + wonging + short sessions OR...

question about ES vs. dealer 10

yeah that's what i'm wondering too, especially given the ace reckoned nature of hilo count it should capture sufficiently well the desirability of surrender pen is 3 decks / 4 spread 5-200
