A card counting female player has many advantages over her male counterpart and every BJ team should have at least one! Why? They attract far less attention from the pit, can spread wider with less heat and can occasionaly 'influence' the dealer into giving away their insurance hands (Which is worth 2% over and above basic strategy according to Uston).

I would SO like to post my picture. I do NOT look like a chemist OR a mother. I play ALOT so I can't post, I play solo while my other half is in the turf club (horse parlor). He likes Borgata. get a drink each time you wager, and I like the Trop (4 deck/6 deck) but we get comps at HET. So. when in AC we usually start Trop, end Borgata harrahs.
All the men try to tell me how to play, I have a very smart mouth and tell them they can play with their money while I play with mine, who left and made them the Blackjack King. Usually they leave:joker: I like being alone:laugh: The dealers all know me.:devil: I try not drink when I play. my counts get off sometimes. Usually I have water, when life isnt going so well
I switch to the goose, on the rocks, twist of lemon.:grin: I am a TRUE NORWEGIAN, I can be spotted easily if your looking.
I do not want to give up that I am nerdy, as you know all counters "look" nerdy.
Headed to AC the 15-17 maybe this Sat/Sun and to Vegas again in February. I adore adore adore Vegas.
I try to drink when I am done playing, it is a better strategy. Would love to meet other ACers.

Hey Lady Chemist! As a younger (mid-late 30s) lady playing BJ and now poker tourneys as well as cash games, I so know what you mean.
Some days, I drag in looking a touch "housewifey" and some days it's hair-n-make-up, nails are perfect. Sometimes a mix.
My local house, everyone knows me -- mostly in jeans and sweatshirts, and they tease that I'm becoming a ProPlayer because I'm mapping out the tourneys in State/LV/AZ to my advantage. LOL Maybe, but it's also a cover for a cover. :cat:
And love your drink. I do Goose neat or Goose kamikazis. Or it's Coffee-and-CHambord.

Hmmmmmm. I was engaged to a chemist once. Long hair, no glasses, absolutely not conservative. Nerdy ... maybe a bit. IMO the stereotype attractive but nerdy woman scientist is the forensic specialist on TV's NCIS.

I was shocked the other day while playing at the Borg because for a while I had a table with 2 other players who actually knew bs including this nice girl. Call me nuts but it's very rare when I see a nice looking american girl who can actually play BJ. We were having fun for a while there because we kept winning and winning. (Imagine the dealer busting like 7 hands in a row)

One of these days on a rare visit to Las Vegas I'm going to stuff myself into a little black dress and go out to play. Spaghetti straps and hairy shoulders should clear out the table. But I'm going to save that for when I really need it, like a 2:1 blackjack promotion.
Only problem is in LV there are enough people getting their freak on that I could make a few friends I don't want!
