Yea that is not real good camo ---- I was working with a 25-150 negative/neutral --- I mean I did not bet the 150 all the time, just made it seem random you know... Like I was " FEELING IT "

1) there is more to counting than flipping cards in 20 seconds and watching the movie 21
2) a complete set of rules are not printed on the table at casinos
3) you always win or lose the biggest amount of money in high counts
4) "gambling" and advantage play do not mix
5) when people talk about "flucuation" in blackjack... you have not really seen it yet.

id never come out and ask anyone what the pen is
same. dont claim ANY advanced knowledge about the game. thats just more reason to believe you are counting. some people even think just using surrender is considered advanced, let alone pen (purely made to weaken counters).
No you guys are right - It was my fault I mixed gambling with counting but then again I did not go there for profit --- I had the 10k written off and if that weird ass losing streak never came up I might have spent the rest of the 6-7k ( i.e. - Lost the money over a longer periode of time )
It is not that I do not show care for the money it is just that my risk tolerance is through the roof - Obviously when I go to Vegas with a serious bankroll I will be playing much differently... I can confidently say that atleast once a month I have a day where I lose 15-20k maybe more, mind you that could be within a couple hours ---- So no matter how this 5k flux'd, I was ready for it and it was surreal when it actually happened while being aware lol

Basically I told myself ok ---- Either I lose it all, or come out big ---- I did not lose it all so I kind of chickend out, but I def learned a lot

Okay, on a positive note--I think it was a really good idea to give Canada a try before turning 21. You definitely need to get some real-life experience in.
Now, "the bad"--YOU SHOULD BE SEEING A TC OF +6 ABOUT ONCE PER HOUR! Also, you know you were over-betting your trip's bankroll, right??
So, how do you detect a cheating casino? (I DON'T THINK YOU WERE CHEATED BUT LET'S ENTERTAIN THE IDEA.) You would have had to note the exact RC when the shuffle card was thrown onto the felt. (I'm assuming the RC was very positive. If it was neutral or negative when you stopped playing, then I REALLY, REALLY DON'T THINK YOU WERE CHEATED.) Now, if you were a shuffle tracker and they weren't ASM (which they probably were), you could conceivably track the cut-offs and compare it to your shuffle point notation. Without ST'g, you'd have to count the next shoe and the next and the next...
Noting the RC at the shuffle point every time. I don't what type of sample size you'd need but I'm guessing around 10 which might take about three hours. Then, if you told me the RC was over, say "+6", at least 80% of the time, "I'd say there was a good chance that you were cheated."

Next time you go into a casino go straight to the Pit boss and ask him that question, he can probably give you a more accurate answer.
You might have well asked them what the score of that particular game was. Oh and youshould have just asked what the house advantage of th at particular game was while you were at it because you aren't going to last long at the casinos. Making ridiculously dumb comments like that is going to get kicked out of a casino faster than the counter beside you can say 70%

They dont have any records? a comment like that is not gorunds for barring you right there you need to show them skill, although they most likely were watching you closely. A card counter can estimate pen by just looking at it? He didnt give a ****?

A 20 something walking into a casino, asking what the penetration of the shoe is and betting 500 a year or so after the movie 21 came out. Now if that doesn't scream card counter I don't know what does. Anyone can count cards, only the pros can go about it undetected.

Exactly but maybe the casino realizes they hey people will think its easy they will coem screw up and more money for us. In my one thread "it was terrible a whole table of counters" showed what happens when a casino offers a game that people think is beatable. This low limit table made a killing because of the movie 21 and the incompetance of players who read a chapter in a book and go out to play
