As weird as this sounds this is actually excellent advice.

IMO the only way to start beating online poker in any reasonable amount of time is to get set up with rakeback, purchase pokertracker 3 or hold'em manager, and then find someone that is already beating the game to show you the way. Its not easy to do but if you reach the point of actually being able to beat the games consistantly it can be quite rewarding as you dont have to move from your bed to start making money. I could go on and on about this but thats all i will say for now.
 
Is there any strategy of what hands to play or something?
What is poker tracker 3 and holdem manager?

Once I heard some advice given to a complete beginner. As a general rule of thumb with more than 5 players only play blackjacks and hands that add up to 20.
 
In my opinion, the only way to win at online poker is to search for tables with sorry players. Constantly change tabels until you find terrible players. If you are good at that, then you don't have to be good to win. You just have to choose tables where players are worse than you. Never let emotion get involved. Just because someone takes your money, DO NOT try to get revenge. That is the best way to lose. Sit and be patient. Oh and did I mentions search for tables with horrible players?

You sure can win that way,your EV will be $1-2/Hr at most.

if you ev is only 1 or 2 dollars an hour, your not doing a good job of seaching. Let me give you an example. I encountered one player who would buy in for 30k and bet and raise every time and play all the way to the end. This one player alone gives you about a 50 ev if not more. I have done this and have done quite well at it. put the person in your frined list and memorize their name. I played this person every day for about a week straight and made about 900 dollars off of him. And this is only one player. think if you get a table with a few bad players on it. THere are hundreds of sorry players out there. You just have to find them.
 
Also, practice makes perfect. Play at the very very low stakes, get a feel for the game. If you've never played poker that much you have a lot to learn. I'd recommend playing very tight until you really get a feel for what is going on. A lot of book recommend agressive play, and I think that's good when you get a better feel for the game, but in online play, you can be profitable with tight play. Then as you get better, your profits increase as you become more aggressive...but if you play overly aggressive without the skill/experience to back it up, you'll lose lots of money quickly.
 
I play at sportsbook.com, and I never seem to be able to win there. I wanted to play on pokerstars but when I try to make a deposit it says that my cc has restrictions on it. But the other day I did get an e-mail from poker stars saying they put $2 in my account to try out the site. I treat that $2 in there like gold because I can not replenish it, so far I got it up to $12 playing $0.01/$0.02 tables. hopefully it will stay that way. It seems like I do waaay better on poker stars over sportsbook.

As of now, poker is technically illegal online here in the US. The government is punishing the banks for allowing transactions to occur between their credit cards and the online casinos. However, sometimes they will work sometimes they will not. If you try about 3 different cards, you should be able to make a deposit on at least on of them, but chances are you will only be able to use that card once or twice and there is no guarantee that it will work. Also, you can purchase a prepaid credit card and deposit that money as well (for most cases). Just make sure the prepaid credit card does not say "valid only in the US". I made that mistake the first time I tried it. Walmart sells prepaid, but I think they are all only valid in the US. Some gas stations sell prepaid cards that will work. Another problem is getting your money out. If you opt to be paid by check, you usually have a minimum withdrawal and anywhere from $20 to $50 in fees for sending the check. Normaly $20 though.

I'm not sure what site you are using, but it's either minimum withdrawal or fees. Typically they'll send a check for free...but if it's below $50 check, or if you request more than 2 checks per month, then they charge you a fee.
 
The first time that I tried to deposit I went to meijers and bought a prepaid card, and it never worked on any of the sites I tried. I just looked it over and it doesn't say anything about valid only in US, I think. I gave up on that and used a regular card.

All the sites that i used charged me a minimum of $20 per check but said they would try to deposit it directly into my account for free. I have not played online in a while so things may have changed, and the fee may not be for all the sites.
 
All this talk about fees probably explains why doylesroom.com never returned my $18.56 after they cut me off. :(
