I looked over the DRF PPs today with the high potential for sub-par track conditions for Louisville on Saturday in mind. My pick right now: Friesan Fire. But the ponies are all about the odds, so we'll see what the numbers are tomorrow afternoon when I run up to the track.

Over the years, I've had good luck with the Derby.
Way back when, I ran a pool for my friends. $2 a pop and we drew the horses name out of a hat. I picked last and got a real longshot. We drew a second pool and this time I got the first pick. wouldn't you know,I picked the same damn horse.Some unknown horse from South America by the name of Cannonero 11.
My best hit was taking a $10 across the board flyer on another longshot named War Emblem.
Along the way, I've had Silver Charm, Smarty Jones and Big Brown. Was shut out on Barbaro when I forgot the race started three hours early on a Vegas trip.
