2 deckers are coming to Hilton on NYEve2010 (tipped off by a local-news-guy.)

Guys, please don't kill the 2deckers yet. Wait until more 2deckers are offered by other casinos, i.e., Plaza, Bally's, etc...

I'll tell you more about Hilton's 2deckers in the chatroom right now. Come talk to me before I log out and go back to "work".

Since this is the Eastern US forum I'm assuming you're talking about the AC Hilton. That being said, what's the Plaza?

This is old news.

It will, in all likelihood, be unplayable with H17 6-5 BJ's NDAS 50% dealt.

Don't be so quick to judge skippy, if you think about it, regardless of the rules this just might be a fantastic game. As a matter of fact I hope they do go with the worst rules imaginable, keep all the riff raff counters out.

The pitch games in AC are all no-hole card.

If it's 6:5 it will be unplayable, but I don't think it will be. The whole purpose of the DD is to attract whales who will not play 6:5. Their 6:5 SD was a bust and is now lumped in with the novelty games.

The game may be a counter trap. Watch out for a PC who's 40ish, tall, glasses, light brown hair. He's Hilton's counter catcher.

Rumor has it, like most "counter catchers" he can't actually count, he's just looking for a profile and bet variation.

He looks like a shady character to me. Just stands out as something unusual and out of the ordinary. I am not the least bit surprised that he can't count! (and I'm not talking card counting)

I was with an AP friend of mine and we were discussing card vs. no-card play. So, on a bet (how quickly I could get half-shoed) I sat down in the HL pit, did not present my card, and started playing, while my fiend played with a card at the same table. Count started climbing, as did our bets. Mr. Counter Catcher wandered over and whispered something to the dealer. Next shoe, the cut card was at 50%. I got up and left. My friend said dealer then said to Mr. CC "You were right. Good catch."

I am scheduled to fly west on the 30th. Playing a great deal in AC in past years, I am very curious to see this game. I considered posponing my departure west just to check out and play this game, but decided against it. The game will be under heavy scrutiny early on anyway. I will wait for reports on this game from you guys and see if other casinos follow suite. If you don't burn out this game, I will take my shot later on. Keep me posted please. ;)

I'm in town now, looks like the tables are set up. Appears to be 3:2, S17 unless they are planning on changing the baizes between now and Dec. 31.

It's funny, though. the 4D games at Trop never really caught on with the masses. the dealers complained about shuffling frequently and they said they players complained, too.
