Even down to the buyin! This topic does make me curious though: how reasonable is it to try and find people on places like craigslist for things like this?
Very unreasonable. Even selling a car on Craigslist is a hassle and not worth it. When I want to sell a car, I put a sign in the window and park it down at Wal-Mart. I've probably sold more stuff at Wal-Mart than bought.
Maybe think of the casino as Wal-Mart and team up with counters you meet at the table. When you and another counter recognize you are playing together that means you are playing the same kind of game, with skills that you recognize as skills. You know you both have some kind of a bankroll, and you're not dealing with a casino spy or some screwball who is screwing with you online. Most counters are agreeable guys and enjoy talking trade with others they know are legit. A few times I've made ad hoc arrangements with people I just met that night. No bankroll sharing at that point of course, just info sharing which is just as valuable.
