Has trespassing AP's been voided in Nevada?

Wow, it seems if Vegas wasn't very kind to you. It seems maybe it exposed your game to what it may be lacking. I would worry less about the trespass than I would why you are getting burned all over town. Losing happens, but I would look long and hard at your experience in Vegas and think of what you could've done to change the outcome of the trip to be a more favorable one. As long as you can honestly evaluate your actions and play, this trip was worth it even though it may not feel like it now.

Again, don't worry about being trespassed for counting, many I know have been playing for years at places they have been 86'd from. It is wise though to give that property a rest before returning.

correct me if i'm wrong, would not returning to that property constitute an illegal act?

just me maybe, but with the prospect of some sort of legal mess over having been trespassed looming, i believe i'd mark that joint off my list.

I havnt actually been able to read that article cause iv been using my blackberry for the last two weeks. Wouldn't it seem that if it were actually an invalid practice to tresspass somebody who isn't being disorderly, that mayby their rights have been violated if that actually took place? It seems to me that if attempts to shoot at that angle in the past have failed. Those same attempts would now have more leverage.

it sounds pretty conclusive. does this apply in PA? what does this mean if youve been backed off? could you just come back a month later and play anonymously? if you get caught then what? they cant ban you still right?

I don't think court orders carry the weight of law, but the more cases, the more precedent available to argue in court. If the trend continues, trespass may become a non-option. The right to refuse service, of course, can still be exercised for the particular game, and maybe for the entire casino if other than card counting behavior is alleged. But everything is subject to court review and a judge's determination.
 
i guess im thinking if they cant ban you they can hardly back u off either. unless ignoring back offs is a reason to ban. otherwise you can just keep coming back and playing over and other thing etc

If it came to that, you can still be put on "flat bet basis" or they can use the quick shuffle.

I believe the courts have ruled they can back you off in Nevada if you are counting cards. That's probably why many places tell you that you can play any other game, but not blackjack.
 
I don't know the term. But betting on other peoples hands, this is very common and tollerated. I don't know how to elaborate any further. think scaveging while watching a game, but ur not just stealing ev from a player

Nobody really gets arrested for it. Especially if your trespass came about from card counting. Most of the enforced trespass cases come from those that were 86'd due to violence or criminal behavior. Even then its just a slap on the wrist. Although they may not like the idea of AP, most casinos will just continue the tactic of asking you to leave, as long as you are not breaking laws. And if you do leave peacefully each time, they will be less likely to try to frame a crime on you. I have known many lifelong AP's that have been banned from casinos for 10 years now that get removed at least a couple times a year. Its almost like a joke as they basically say see ya next time as they get escorted out.
