Hmm well I have not tried to book an offer yet but I will try. I am pretty sure they have me down as a $300/hand bettor.
My vote is anyone of the stinking joints that is willing to let me take their money from them. The more I can get from them the more I like them.
I have about six off the top of my head that i really really liked for time periods of 3 months to 2 years.....
4 winds,grand vic elgin,motorcity,greektown, those were 4 of the best.....they are toilets in my mind now....
Anytime your rated in the top 1% of players in a casino........well let's just say things are good!

fondest memories for me would be the now defunct SeaEscape,

they had some wild promo's on a monthly basis, can't remember exactly, something like pay for $100 worth of chips and receive $150 worth of chips, that could be played virtually like regular chips.
then on certain nights, errhh maybe tuesday & wednesdays they'd give you either a $25 match play chip or two $25 match play chips.
she was an ole ship, kinda of worn, but it was really enjoyable, shows, movies and meal with really low admission ticket for the cruise to no where, days and nights.

The best place I have gambled in is probably Circus Circus in Reno. My husband and I both had a great time won some money and had about $150 in food comps.
The rooms there were also very nice and cheap I think we paid $39 a night. This was quite a few years ago.
In Las Vegas I did pretty good playing Black Jack at Tropicana.

Really? Circus Circus has bad rules. The food comp sounds allright, except I assume then you have to use it for Circus Circus food, which was pretty bad the last time I was there. And one can do much better than $39 a night in Reno. You can get nice rooms at the Sands for about half that price.

If you're rated in the top 1% of all players in a casino, your play will be getting a lot of attention. You can immediately go from being treated like a king to being treated like scum if they know you're counting. If you want to keep those great comps in the long term, don't take so much money from them (take money from their competition instead).
The room was superior at Circus Circus and we even had a suite one time with a jacuzzi in the room. It was very cheap.
The last time I was there was at least 5 years ago but probably more like 7 years. At that time I found the Black Jack to be very good way better than Harrah's.
Another pretty good place was Atlantis which is not downtown. They had a really good pizza place. But I doubt if I will being to Reno anytime soon, if ever.
I heard Circus Circus in Vegas is a dump. But I have not ever been there.
We also stayed at Silver Legacy but I don't recall how much the room was and they have a Great Buffet called Sterlings (I think) I still get emails from them for rooms

I'm having a problem wrapping my head around the idea that any casino would tell players they are in the top 1% of players. Does the 1% stand for action given, skill level or what?

Whoops!!! Sorry guys....I should have clarified.about the 1%..all my action was through machines....
and as some one alluded to , when the casino finds out what you really are up to.... the whole charade comes crashing down extremly quick. Poof everything is gone in a heartbeat.
And from that point forward the store is just a toilet to me....There is always another one to be found.

Yes the Eldorado/AgLeg has the best buffet in downtown Reno. Also a decent game if you can get away with it.
It's been a while since I've been in Reno too, but the best BJ now is probably at the Western Village, and the Atlantis is good too. Boomtown used to be the best, was in a category by itself as well as the infamous truckstop in Sparks! Circle Jerkus will let you get away with counting but it's a relatively poor game, tends to be slow and crowded. I also hear they treat their employees worse than any place in town, so bad they can't get an American to deal cards there.
The place in Reno to avoid: Cal-Neva. Lots of crazy, lowlife and illegal behavior in there. And the patrons are no bargain either.

Personally i like the casino down the road much better.
But if you like the dealers keeping their own tokes (which in my experience leads to more transparently fake "friendliness" and toke hustling) and non-smoking (they have non-smoking pits at the 2 major Indian casinos in area) better than a beatable game, good for you!
Enjoy your 1.75 deck cuts :laugh:
