Cards printed out from our Forum probably are, but the house may not like them, If you need to bring a card to the table anyway, you probably aren't ready to play yet.

Printed strategies should pose no problem at all.
However, the title of this thread asks "Use Strategy Engine at Table?"
I would say DO NOT use a smartphone to pull up the strategy engine at the table, because this could run afoul of the law against using a device while gambling.

A buddy of mine did this when he was first learning to play a while back. I printed off the correct strategy for the game he was playing and told him that despite being able to use it, he should memorize it and not worry about constantly checking it. Before he was able to use it at the table, the flloorman had to "check it". Upon getting the thumbs up, the floorman told him he had the wrong strategy and gave him a copy of the casino's blackjack basic strategy chart :laugh:

Wrong BS chart for the game being played
I can't tell you how many times I have looked at a BS chart a player has been using and it is the wrong chart for the game being played.
Always check the rules and be sure your chart is for that game !!!!!

I have heard people say that they believe the casinos intentionally print BS charts with wrong information. I have always felt that it is more likely that they simply have a one size fits all chart. I doubt that very many casino employees realize that there is more than one BS chart.

Anything on paper with BS would be probably legal and accepted by the casino. A casino gift shop BS card would probably be treated as less threatening then something printed at home. A home print out may get a request to see it from the pit.
Anything on paper regarding counting could bring you heat, barring or loss of comps or any of the other things that can arise for skilled players. Plus there is potential evidence for their decisions. The pit may ask to see the paper; one can refuse and probably would be not allowed to play, or the "eye" may try to have a look without your knowledge.
Anything on any device could be considered illegal.

I used a homemade one with a cheat code built in. When they inspected it I got the okay to continue using it. I didn't realize it was standard to inspect home made charts. I figured they wondered why I kept checking the chart right before I made an "incorrect" play so I never used it again.

There's no law prohibiting it's use, but the casino will certainly check it out. I prefer not using any notes or strategy cards because they may be annoying to other players by slowing down the game. Once I even saw a player refer to his plastic card repeatedly, but kept on making the wrong plays! Actually it may not be a bad idea for AP's to use it as a cover tactic to make them appear like the average ploppy.

As long as you actually use it. Just having it in front of you without referring to it does no good whatsoever.
