20k hands played still losing

yes i did get this tonight and yes i made mistakes altering denominations through my gambling session oh a well is still a win thats for you Bosox, the royal flushes keep pouring in, ashame there is no royal in blackjack, roulette, or baccarat and i understand casino does not mean atm machine however video poker does give players a chance to win money oppose to your card counting , i still card count watched the counter go from the table and to the atm machine that night while i slammed a 2 thousand royal hand pay it was overall a goodnight if i ever work up the courage to play with the big boys let be aces and faces 5$ a turn machine or a hail mary bankroll of a 3k$ i'll keep you updated

i only have access to sands pa casino and atlantic city im stuck with the crappy 10min bet of H17 8 decker or S17 LS 15$ min both full tables of 5 players 90% of the time on a saturday i am not saying card count does not work just not for me since i don't have those funds

i just felt like Billy was the champion of the people the average joe gambler to beat them and there were many many other gamblers who followed his footsteps and suffered the same fate

i have nothing against you Kewl i too am from philly and i wonder if you grew up in cc or north philly? anywho sorry if i came off strong or offensive or called you a fictional character that the casinos invented to get people like Billy to go down and lose all his money i will answer anything you have for me i owe ya that much =)

i am not billy but i admire his posts and his results as i admire everyone who put in their time their energy and there income and came out on the crap end of the stick...and i also feel bad for them because it was not what they expected and i do not wish to follow the same route i even watched the dealer tonight mop the floor with players as they pushed out 15$ to 100$ a hand no i did not bother to count has no intention to play BJ my goal was VP and i hit my target and was pleased with the results as was with my past 3 royals ive gotten

John if you like to gamble do some research on VP it does give you a fighting chance to come out on top

time, patience, bankroll, and balls to be prepare to lose is all you need for a royal flush

unless you have access to 5$ blackjack with same rules as sands pa then i guess stick with what you know

oh just get CVBJ 3.0 5 bucks off amazon its damn near a real life shuffler in casino, when you see how fast you lose your 3k$ or 6k$ roll with max bet being 100$ or so you will know its a real casino shuffle =) but you won't get the back off =/

Short term you may exceed the normal average of Royal Flushes all due to luck. You want to play on hope and a prayer go for it. Long term you will lose all of your money playing 9-6 Jacks or Better.
 
then thats what i will do i will have a 0.76% edge over the house and get my royals guilt free while your stuck there with your damn 1.5 wins with max bet out and then losing 1/2 of them to dealers backdoor 21 and 20s!

John, I took a look at the trainer, How do you wong out, and get a fresh shoe? The only way I could try that was by ending the session, and when I started it up I was in the same spot where I left before. I notice you must bet at least $5 every hand, and when you surrender you do not see the dealers undercard. I think you do have the right idea by practicing for free, before attempting to play at real live tables.
 
you got nothing to say to my might 0.76%edge in DW? yeah John tell us how you managed to lose 6k-12k or 120 max bets and fell in the cracks of 5% of ruin like all the others on this site 10-15 years ago and i will tell you how i came home with 8k playing a 2$ table (10$ a hand) in vp

Steve, from reading some of your previous post I know you do not think much about blackjack, but you must realize that is coming from a very narrow perspective of only one person.
 
I've come to the conclusion to let the naysayers believe what they want. It's better for the AP to have as little competition as possible.

As for the FPDW. You'll make more money working at McDonald's with NO VARIANCE!
 
well you seem to put down VP and so i am doing the same with BJ, Mr Bob Dancer won over a mil playing VP and he did it and wrote a book on it, can i start small with BJ and mimic his results? i think i have a greater chance at the lotto but in VP just maybe i can start out with a roll of 3k-6k and build like he did, or i can lose it all as so i did on my simulations and as many did on this website many moons ago

until those table min change to 1 or 3 dollars Zenking is correct you need a 10k+ roll to begin counting and still have a 5-10% chance of ruin

and no damn way will i play a H17 8 deck no surrender thats just wrong i like how Tarzan said atlantic city should change their rules to : 12 decks, lose on a push, blackjack pays 1:1 no surrender, and you pay 0.50cent per hand!

and i have no doubt those tables would still be crowding as always

i played the hell out of blackjack and video poker both are respectable games but VP is better i worked up 130k$ on my software (lost a couple bankrolls of 4000 credits, recovered and kept goin) Bob won a mil in VP you can tell me Kenny won a mil to but
both games have things in common, choose how to play and choose what to bet, right now VP been good to me and if you want to keep going with BJ then proceed
 
I'm not a card counter Steve.

And I've played a ton of 9/6 JoB flawlessly and still came out a loser. You can try, but you'll fail.

I grew up in Florida, 5 minutes from Daytona Beach. I moved to Philadelphia when I was 18. I lived in Center City, just off Rittenhouse Square for 8 years. I loved and still love Philly. Only reason I left is because if it became obvious that if I wanted to really pursue a professional blackjack career, Atlantic City was not the place to do so, as I had worn out my welcome. At the time I left, Pennsylvania had casinos, but had not yet approved table games, so only slots.

Table games and the liberal rules (stand 17, surrender) started about 6 months later. In hindsight (which is always 20/20), I should have stayed and milked those games for a couple years before heading West. In the end though, Vegas and it's many games (large rotation) is the place I needed to be.

I wong out by ending the trainer and recording the results. I haven't had a problem with it continuing where I left off. Every time I rejoin it starts a new show.
