I agree Guy. There's really no way to "prove" the merits of DC. There's a theory with mathematics that show if a player can keep the dice on a pre-set axis for a regular amount of time, he can gain an advantage. If you can do it, then you can do it...and make some money. In my eyes, there's really no reason to justify it OR make your money explaining it.

It's a "put your money where your mouth is" thing.

All must agree that at least in theory an advantage can be gained by DC. The only question is, can it be done in real life? The proof is in practice session after practice session with meticulous records are you consistently beating the odds? I know we loathe this kind of evidence in blackjack, but in craps there is no other evidence. Or maybe someone could film the toss and show in slow motion how the dice react. No, I still think in the case of DC, the proof is in the pudding, because as yet there is no other way. :dog: Az

Amen. There need not be any "proof" other than consistent success at the dice table. Are the dice staying on axis consistently, and are you betting to your strengths?

The only reason one tries to prove himself is if he is trying to sell his knowledge/system. :joker:

Practice makes perfect, as with any physical skill.

If someone truly can control dice, I think the following scenario would be the best way to utilize the skill and lower variance:

Bet Table Max on Don't Pass.

Take your time and carefully roll the dice, even if it doesn't hit the back wall. As long as you can avoid the 7 or yo'leven, you're good. Most of the time the pit will not get too upset over one bad throw

Now shoot random since the odds shift in your favor after rolling a point.



An alternative to this would be to find a casino that offers 100x odds, place one unit on Pass and 99 units on Don't Pass. Roll a point and then place the 100x odds. Win, and you pocket the odds. Lose, and you break even since your Don't Pass will equal your odds.

Just an idea.
