I actually picked up the term from a dealer at Planet Hollywood. I remarked that there were an above average number of working girls milling about, and he replied, "They don't call us Planet Ho for nothing." My friends and I often play Spot The Ho, trying to be the first to recognize one from afar.

What a great nickname. Ho is so much easier to say than hollywood.

The nickname actually came about because over a holiday weeked,the workers stopped putting up the sign. By accident or design,the sign read Planet Ho. Google it and I'm sure you can find some photos.
