+5 = 5 times base? So at +5 I should be betting 5X my baseline, and then that's the roof - right?

What are the proper bet increases for really high true counts like +5, +6 ... + 10? Isn't there a point where you would start to back off on increasing further?

Regarding the illustrious 18, I'm curious: So it is stated that if the count is +5 then you should split 10s againt a 5. I'm just really curious as to the table reactions toward whoever has done this. I'm not critizing the play, I'm sure it's the right thing to do, but to whoever has done...

what about tripling, etc? That really changes the way I've been doing things. So if I should not double until +2, when should I triple and quadruple my betting in a multiple deck shoe?
