What does this have to do with the topic at hand? A modest tip to a cocktail waitress and charity are not necessarily one in the same. I'm not talking about being generous...$1 for someone bringing you a drink is minimum. Again, barring bad service, anything less than that just shows your...

But when the waitress brings you a complimentary beverage, tip her. Otherwise, bring your own water with you. It's $1, so man up and pay for the service. Bad service is one thing, and dealer tokes are arguably another, but we're talking about something entirely different with waitstaff.

Went to a conference at the VFCC a couple years back and was not impressed. You are correct about the Philly Expo Center taking away business, as has the ever-expanding PA Convention Center downtown...one hell of a facility.
