BJ Book I would suggest that you start with Blackjack Bluebook II. (or Knockout BJ) I also have all the books mentioned and Get the Edge In Blackjack and BJ Attack are way too deep for a new player.

Ante Mike is right. Oklahoma does charge an "ante" on Every hand of BJ. I don't know of any other states that do, so I also think that MadMax was playing some Olkahoma BJ.

Book Sounds like a good book for them would be Fred Renezy's Blackjack Bluebook II. I gave some as gifts last year and they were well recivied. It is a good book and is interesting, without getting too deep for a newer player.
