Practice, practice, practice. You should be able to look at a hand of say 6 cards and then without even thinking be able to get the count of it. Without putting any thought what so ever into what you are doing, cancel pairs, make neutral invisible..

I would just start with something simple such as basic Hi/Lo. It is Verryyy difficult to 'take a casino for alot' with $500-$1000. ROR is probably like ... VERY high.

When a dealer gets a blackjack, we only lose our bet. When we get a blackjack, we win our bet + another half. Those + another half's begin to add up. :)

For this "Early Surrender", I am dealt a 16 vs 10. The dealer looks at the table and says "Surrender?". If i say yes, i give him my bet, he takes half for the house, gives half back and takes my cards away.
