2 man team with BP

Ok, has anyone teamed up with a big player while you were the seeker (counter)? If so, how would one suggest to split the winnings and or how does the seeker get paid per session/trip?

From my understanding I need not contribute any monies but just count and call in the BP at the appropriate time.

Any suggestons or comments would be greatly appreciated.

With two people you would be just better off pooling a bankroll and playing different tables by yourself
Very much so, what is the point of having one of the two just counting and not laying down a spread?

Isn't the whole point of Big Player play to not look like you're making a spread?
That's what they'd be doing with a two person team,one spotter,one big player.:joker:

Well, That's how I was thinking too but your right, I don't have enough information yet. My mentor mentioned being part of a team to me on Saturday. I have a meeting tonight and will be meeting this potential BP teammate so I will find out more. In the long run my Mentor is trying to get together a bigger team. He is a well-known BJ professional and trainer and he himself has once been on a team and I trust him explicity along with his BJ strategies.

If I am still concerned and have questions I will post again.
Thank you

Naw, No film, this is real life baby...and I've prepared and prepared, worked hard, studied hard, prepared some more and then studies some more. In addition, I was at the right place at the right time to meet an old proffessional who took a liking to this cute redheaded gal.
:p

Thanks, I'll post again if I have any concerns or questions.

Just be very careful, you can very easily get scammed (or worse) in this situation. Feel free to post the specific deal he's offering you for comments.

I agree with john doe here. My first reaction is, if you have a mentor who is a professional player, who also wants to team with you, you should not need to ask very general questions to a public message board. I have run a team for years and thats just not a viable sounding scenario. If one is to run a successful team, especially as a professional, all questions should be answered before a prospect considers or is considered for playing on that team. There are no gray areas when it comes to a professionally run team. A team should have its rules and guidelines laid out, as well as whats expected. Anything other than this and I would be very suspect of this "professional".

Is this "well known professional" asking you to put up money in this venture?

Beware of "well known professionals" that call themselves things like Conman, Scam Artist, or Grifter.

Thanks, he really is a well-known professional! No, no money is required on my part. We are getting together tomorrow morning and I will find out all the information and ask many questions before I agree to any team play.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was a seeker and get a feel for how payment/and/or winnings were shared and any other info before I accepted. Trust me, I am no fool and will not be taken by anyone.

I am benefitting just fine playing solo.

Thank you and have a great day

If I were hiring a spotter I would pay them an hourly salary, or maybe a fee per shift worked plus expenses. I might also arrange a bonus based on win.

Wait a minute... are you the redheaded girl???

If so can you be sure this "old professional" isn't just after your :cat: and not your money or your services on his team? Surely no adult female needs a monkey to tell her that many guys will say or do anything for this purpose.

You might not want to give him any more time than you would a guy you meet in a casino who tells you he's a Hollywood talent scout and wants you to stop by his hotel room for a private audition, if you know what I mean.

Thank you for your concern but I have been training with this old fellow for almost 7 months now, he is no threat, plus he is cute and adorable...hard core; chop chop, no talking or laughing except for blackjack. :whip:

is this team only going to be consisting of 2 people? and what sort of bet spread and BR?

Ming
Yes, I thought it sounded like a good deal too. The team numbers will eventually be growing in time...to how many will be determined by the sponsor/captain of the team. Bankroll and spread is unknown yet and provided by the BP and captain .... I am the newbie here so all this is a learning experience for me since I am not contributing any monetary funds!! Time will tell but I am so excited
