2 seperate casino "assaults"

Ok so I'm pretty sure all this happened last saturday, the 22 of May.

1. The casino in which I mostly play at (4 deck game) took a man for over $40k. He leaves, comes back later with another man and a gun. Fires about 2 times inside the casino into the air, and one more time outside... Not sure what he was trying to accomplish but he did scare a lot of people. I wasn't playing that night but still, shocking news to me.

2. A sister casino to the one I deal at (owned by same people) kicks out a player for whatever reason. He comes back later with multiple friends and they all beat up the pit boss who got him kicked, along with every single security guard. All of which are seniors... Time for some new security guards and safety guidelines maybe.

Just thought I'd share this crap, I can't believe the nerve of some of these gambler douche bags. Honestly.

What is this world coming to? When I first started cc'ing a few years ago, I kept my eye on the pit and it never even crossed my mind that a casino patron might go off the deep end and go ape sh*t (no offense AM) in a casino. It didn't take long to witness all the low-lifes that frequent casinos and I learned that I was more likely to be physically harmed by casino patrons than casino security personnel.

Very scary when someone starts shooting. Stay safe and duck for cover, pooptarts! I sure hope the risk is worth the reward.

Not really along the line of a battery or assault, however, I recently saw a patron step onto a black chip that had just fallen from the table of someone playing HU BJ. He waited until he thought noone was looking, reached down, and picked it up. I discretely walked over to the supervisor, informed him of what just happened, who in turn, informed the PB. They praised me on my efforts and told me they would go to security in order to review footage, but told me it was unlikely the cameras could pan out that far. I thought, really?! In a casino?! It fell about 1m behind the table. I think it was just a case of a lazy PB who couldnt be bothered doing the right thing by a patron.

It's sad but I've noticed the only time the casino will ever honestly "look at the tapes" is if they are protecting their money, at least that has been my experience as an observer only. They could really give a rat's ass if you lose your money. I'm sure they have some coverage behind the tables. It may not be great but something. They just couldn't be bothered to check if it wasn't their $100.

I wasn't at either of these casinos when it happened, but the fact that I normally play at the one that the guy came to with the gun kind of rattled me a bit. I'm definately gonna keep to myself a lot more now when I go.

Scary moments in casinos

This story reminds me of an incident that happened to me about a year ago in Vegas. I was backcounting the 8 deckers at the Venetian (why? I'm sure you are all saying, and of course now I know better) but anyways it was about 2 AM and I'm dead tired and sick of just standing around when all of a sudden I hear a large *BANG*. I should say I actually felt it even more than I heard it. People were screaming like crazy and I nearly crapped myself thinking "No way did a bomb just go off in here.." Security went nuts running around and no one knew what was going on. No smoke or debris existed anywhere and everyone was confused. It took about 10 minutes for security to figure out that some staff member was pushing some sort of wheelbarrow cart thing and the tire for some reason decided to explode right in the middle of the casino. I bet the staff was glad it happened in the middle of the night, rather than when thousands of people are crowding the place. (4 hours earlier..) I never did hear about this "incident" in the news so the management must have kept that one under wraps pretty good.
