i'm having difficulty understanding just what the woo means by the percentages in the chart below. i get what he's saying about the options explained above.
but by those percentages in the chart does he mean the percentage of advantage gained for that particular action gained by a counter? or can anyone explain just what those percentages represent?

He’s saying, for example, that of the total benefit you get from counting cards, 40% of it comes from using indices that have you stand instead of hit.

I always thought a major benefit of counting was supposed to be that you would have more $$$$ out there when you were more likely to get a blackjack, but he says only 7%.

yes, i was thinking the same thing when i saw the 7% for a snapper.
and doubling only 9% but more than for snappers.
and insurance 34%?
lol, i'm lost. maybe has to do with frequencies of doing these things and the amount of a bet you have on the line?
i mean cause i know the money makers are snappers, doubles and insurance bets. but admittedly cutting down on losers by standing is i guess a big deal, but that big a deal?
if i ever understand what he's saying, probably gonna have to re-shape my whole philosophy about the game.

Im not sure, but a 5 to 6 blackjack game is normaly unbeatable. I would go out on a limb and say that Blackjacks are a huge part of wining and that the percentages deal with percentage based on frequency.
