and unless i find the BJ machines that pay 3-2 and let u count the cards--i'll end up playing nothing but $1-2 NL poker, maybe even a little stud.
BJ machines? How 'bout tables that pay 3-2...there's plenty. But surely you don't want to play the machines, right?

Sorry I can't help you with your original question...I just stay for a couple nights at a time at a casino for free like most of these guys.

good luck

no i wanna find the same machine i used to find at the stratoshpere in vegas, where the min bet is only $3 and the max is 5 bets of $100 each if all the other spots at the machine arent taken. no way do i have the bankroll for regular BJ in ac

You have the money to play $500 a hand, but not the money to play in AC. Okey-dokey.

There were a few rooms up there. Bed and a sink, shared communal toilet and bath. They are more for down and out gamblers who miss their bus or to sleep off a good drunk. Males only and they don't rent to no riff-raff, nor lot lizards. I know that because the bartender asked me if I was a lot lizard the one and only time I stayed there.

They have them at the PA casinos (not sure about all, but I've seen them at a couple racinos), but they are rigged like slots. Stay away if you intend to count them, plus their minimum bets aren't any less than the real games in AC.

good luck

When it's males only, watch out for Patrick Fitzhenry and Henry Fitzpatrick.

Seriously, a friend of mine is a girl and has stayed there in the past. She is Irish. And she's not a lot lizard, but knowing her she probably does up there exactly what she's not supposed to do.

how can a BJ machine be "rigged like slots". by law wouldnt it have to deal from a random 52 cards?

No. Many of them are "Video Lottery Terminals" or VLT's. These are rigged games, with a hold set by the state lottery.

Flash has a good story about these. I'll leave it to him, if he wants to post about it.

how can u tell them apart from a regular BJ or VP machine, like in vegas where it gives u an honest deal? do they look totally different (like florida's bingo machines do?)

I'm not sure how you can physically see the difference, but knowledge of the particular state's gambling laws is a very good indication. PA requires that they work that way...and the VP machines are essentially the same in mechanics.

good luck

Not looking to speak for Shadroch, but here's the website for the pub:

http://www.theirishpub.com/flash/AtlanticCityPub.htm

It is a decent little place with lots o' wood and good beers on tap. St. James & the Boardwalk, although you have to physically walk off the Boardwalk to get into it if I remember correctly.

good luck
