any $5 tables in AC?

I don't have much of a bankroll yet so I need to keep my bet spread small for a little while longer. Can anyone tell me where to find the cheapest games? Also, how much do I need to play to get a room comped?

I called a while back and found a casino offering $5 tables. I forget which one. However if you Google the term, "atlantic city casinos" the 2nd result gives you a list of many ph #'s to call. If you ask to be transferred to someone in table games or someone in a blackjack pit they will let you know. There may be several.

I was in AC last weekend and the Borgata had ONE $5 table and ONE $10 dollar table right next to each other. The rest were all $15+. However, they had the $5 and $10 dollar tables open all weekend, which is somewhat surprising. They were practically full the entire time, which made wonging impossible. However, none of the other casinos I went to had anything less than $15. I expect this to be different during the week though, which is when I plan to return.
 
This question has been asked many many times. See prior posts for an idea of which places offer $5 tables. They're mostly offered during the day on weekdays.
 
Weekdays and early AM on weekends most of the casinos have $10 tables. Borgata does have one $5 table all the time. If you go into Borgata from the self-parking garage and through the stores into the casino then turn left once you enter the casino area. Stay to the outside walkway. Once you make it around the corner you will see a small pit to your right. It is at the short table there. (there are 4 pits at Borgata that offer blackjack and only this pit that offers real low limits)
 
As the summer season officially starts this weekend, expect to see table mins go up as the crowds swell.

I was in AC today and while the Boardwalk was packed, the tables were still pretty quiet, at least during morning and afternoon.
 
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Tropicana is offering $5 tables right now. When I was there this month I recall $10, $15 and $25 (maybe one for $100 in their HL area). I was only there for about an hour so they could have had some $5 tables at a different time of day.

Also, Tropicana is mostly 8 decks now on the $10 tables. And no midshoe entry if you are on the $25 (and higher) tables.
 
I saw one $5 there, and it was a 2 in the morning. Your best bet is probably to go in on graveyard and ask for a $5 table.
 
What kind of rules can a casual player expect from a low-limit table in AC? I'm thinking of doing a day-trip there while I'm in Delaware for a week, and I'd like to get some play time in, and I want to make sure I'm studying the right BS beforehand.
 
I was at the Tropicana yesterday around 5 PM and there were 3 $5 tables. They were cutting 2 decks of 8.

Rules are pretty much standard - DAS, DA2, no surr. The only variable is S17 or H17
 
Hmm... I see a lot of places saying AC has S17 and that, in AC, "all rules are consistent across all casinos". Is this as bogus as it sounds?

Don't go near memorial day weekend.
