Basic Strategy App

Hmm could it be because there wasn't enough bankroll to cover the full double amount? I've just modified this, it should allow you to double for less if that situation comes up.

Ok I've changed it to a discard tray in the shoe panel and if you tap/click it on it gives an estimate on how much is left. Let me know if you think this is a better direction.

It's a better direction, but you have a lot of blank space that might be better utilized. It's weird to look to the right for the discard tray, and, with respect to the cards themselves, it's awfully small. I could live with smaller cards and the tray to the player's left, where it belongs. (You don't need to indicate where the cut is. That's up to the player to decide.)

Not looking to bust your chops but rather to make this look as authentic as other such applications.

No problem at all, I appreciate the feedback!

Ok I've moved some things around and made everything bigger in general

As we do these refinements, when you answer, can you please include the link to the site, so I don't have to scroll all the way back in the thread? Thanks.

So: The hit cards for the dealer are on the wrong side again. I realize that you've created a discard tray, so now there's not as much room on that side for multiple hit cards, but you can't put them on the other side. It will aggravate players, whose eyes aren't trained to look there. And now that the cards are on the right, you have no more room for the count and other info you used to display there. My suggestion is to make the cards much smaller; they don't have to be giant-sized cards. Nothing is as large as a real-life table, so decrease the card size proportionally to everything else.

Finally, when you choose settings for the rules, etc., please make them stick. Each time I go in, I think I'm playing the same rules I left, but all of the rules reset, and it's a pain to have to change them every time.

Thanks.

Ok new cards for the dealer are back to being on the dealer's right side and are smaller now. They shouldn't touch the discard tray area either so the count/remaining decks should be visible at all times (when you click/tap on it). There's one slight issue, because of the orientation of the cards, when they become stacked it might visually look odd because the corners of the cards are blank like this:

Does this matter? The point where it starts to stack cards kind of depends on how wide your desktop screen is but I've tried to reduce when it occurs.

Ok rules should be sticky now so even if you refresh it will stay.
