Beat double-deck game with strategy deviation alone (flat-bet)?

Upscale casinos like Aria, Bellagio, etc., have double-deck hand-held games dealt face up.
Is it possible to beat the game (while counting) with strategy deviations alone without varying bets?
By the way, they don't offer surrender, and aces can be split only once while others can be split upto four hands.

No, not possible UNLESS you can avoid all minus counts. zg

Not with those rules.

In a SD game that deeply dealt it doesn't matter if it's S/H-17. Both can be beaten with a flat bet and a strong system. Before Fitzgerald's Reno went under they did have that exact game. How sweet it was!

R.I.P. Fitzgerald's

I think he means the dealer holds the deck in his hand and not in a shoe. But I don't want to put words into the OP's post.

And P.S., I remember Fitzgeralds well. And so did my bankroll

Almost every DD game I've ever seen is handheld by the dealer. The exception are the shoe games in downtown Vegas- El Cortez, ect.

How could anybody forget? Love that new fangled indoor plumbing. BTW, both properties are owned by J3 LLC, Bobby Jr, Mayor Cashell's son. No conflict there! :cool2::cool2:

Yes, they own the Topaz Lake store too, don't they? Exact same rules.

I was there (Topaz Lake) once in the snow a few years ago, and literally the only customer in the store. Figured either nobody would be watching and I could get away with anything, or everybody would be watching. In about 10 hands I found out which it was. :(
