Why do most bet spread switch to 2 hands at the upper level? Is 2 hands of $200 better EV than 1 have of 400? If so, why not play 2 hands through entire bet spread where table minimums allow it?
Lower variance with two hands on big bets. With minimum bets you want the least amount on the felt as possible. If the minimum is $10 by playing two hands youre playing two hands at $20. Now youre playing $40 with no edge instead of $10
