BJ BASH report

#1
The second BASH recently was held with double the attendance, would have been triple except for late cancellations.

The group of AP's were highly skilled, very aggressive, highly intelligent, and gentlemen.

The event was at times, most of the time, wild and crazy. There was clearly heat but no backoffs, we were allowed to play and play we did. There was one period late at night when Trey and I were, I believe, targeted for a back off or worse but in the end it never came.

At times we actually screwed with the pits mind. I do credit the casino for letting us do as we wished and that may have had something to do with a plan put in place prior to halt any extreme action by this casino.

The AP's actually got to see first hand how you can co-opt a dealer to do as you like, although we did not take that opportunity.

Thanks again for all those "BJ Warriors" (AND THEY WERE WARRIORS") that attended. I learned much and I am sure so did all the others.

LOL it was hilarious seeing 3 of us at the same table playing the table min and then jumping to 2 hands of 15 units after those baby cards came out. I do have to say that this casino (and personel), although at one point there was a little tension, were excellent sports. Many thanks to CP who set up this event and I hope to attend the next one :)

It was definitely fun playing with multiple other AP's at the table and watching the bets jump together. It was also interesting seeing how different counts identify advantages earlier or at different points. I was impressed with everyone playing and will most likely attend next year. Thanks CP for organizing the event and making it all happen.

To say that we played those game aggressively I think is an understatement. I’m also amazed that no backoffs occurred as a result.

This BASH was truly a great event, attended by not only excellent players but GREAT people as well. It was truly a pleasure to be around everyone that attended.

It was great to finally get to play with CP and witness his true stealthiness. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that he is consistently invited back to every casino he visits. Additionally, I was also very impressed with SystemsTrader's discipline and his commitment to only playing under the finest conditions. His discipline is something that I plan to strive for going forward.

As Sleight and Unshake has stated, seeing how 4 differently counts (Zen, hi lo, KO, TKO) react in a DD game was very interesting and has stimulated me to rethink my approach to the game.

In addition to BJ, Unshake and I were able to spot an opportunity in another game that proved quite fun and a nice change of pace :).

This years BASH has further established CP's BJ BASH as one of the top BJ gatherings. I cannot wait to attend the next one. Those that wish to attend upcoming BASH gatherings should work on getting to know those that have already attended, specifically CP, as all BASH gatherings from here on out will be by invitation only.

With other APs at the same table and you all up your bets at the same time, it must be difficult not to burst into fits of laughter, in that moment?

lol for sure it was hilarious. We all just look at each other and the dealer and we all know whats going on. Then the big cards/BJs come out and we all drop back to min. Good times

Just what on earth did you do to prevent people from being backed off?!! It's not exactly hard to spot counters when you're ALL raising and shrinking your bets at the same time!

....more of the panther's abide.
and now it's wilderness no cities, towns or even farms.
primordial beauty abounds. i expect to see
deer, moose, elk and maybe even a bear.
but it just begins to snow.
and snow.
this new car has yet to be tested by me in the snow.
she tracks well and true.
a bell rings, strange what was that?
a bell deep in the wilds, for i had failed to fill the gasoline tank.
my wife explains how we'd better not run out of gas.
in this snow and wilderness.
i reply how it's an old romantic ploy for girl and boy.
NOT! she replies, "you'll be hoofin it for gas",
fougetaboutit.
and she tells me by her time we will be late to register for
the fine promotion the stealthy one has arranged.
i ask her what adventure she wants to share with me next.
as i nervously glance at the gas gauge.
i comment, my how the snow is really comming down and ask
do you really think we will be too late, what ever shall we do.
"just find some gas", she retorts.
and there in the pristine winter wonderland was a gas station.....

This part shocked me, amazed me and scared me all at once. Unfortunately it cannot be discussed any further. Nice move CP;)
