I'm learning about tournament play, and a user had posted an event he was invited to a couple of year back; however, the rules .pdf is no longer available.
I was wondering if anyone had a previous copy of the rules at any past MGM-LV hosted event. I know rules will be different for any specific tournament, but I was curious about the specific rules surrounding usage of the add-on chip package, which I haven't seen mentioned prior. For a cost, one would receive a 50% starting stack add-on.
For example, does the package have to be used on your turn to act, if so--before or during an active hand (double for less)? Or anytime before the round is over? I'm guessing if one does use the add-on before the round 10 cutoff, it will induce other players to buy the add-on as well? Although, it seems like one has to buy the add-on before the start of play. I thought I'd look into the specific implementation of this rule before trying to figure out optimal usage.
