Where have you bought your blackjack materials? I went to Toys 'R Us today and all they had was Poker. Poker cards, poker chips, poker this and that. But nothing to do with blackjack. I also went to Dick's Sporting Goods and they didn't have anything either.

I want all the stuff listed here: Blackjack Institute (Supplies), but the best price. I'll try amazon, and see if they have anything. But I figured I'd ask you all here first...

Other then the deck of cards, which can be purchased from any casino, it might be tough to get some of the other things. That website doesn't seem too bad for price.

If you want to go all out you might as well get a shoe too.

I wanted to practice at home and hold my own 21 tournaments. I'll save you a lot of time and research. I bought the kit in the following link and it is a great. All I had to do is purchase chips and I was set. You can't go wrong with this deal. This company also replaced a torn cut card that came with the kit without a problem showing good customer service.

Ebay is a good source for lay outs, shoes, shufflers, etc. I think there is some guy who has a good deal on 100 decks of cards. Just do a search for blackjack. Then there is also gamblers supply in Las Vegas. They do mail order and internet sales and they have used casino decks for about a buck a piece.

Thanks for the links, everyone. I am not quite sure if I will get it just yet. I wonder if that "Casino Verite Blackjack" software would be better to get first. What do you think? Actual chips, felt etc Vs. "Casino Verite Blackjack" software?

Timekeeper, I know that Verite is a great software program but I haven't bought it yet. I did buy all the other stuff to simulate a real casino table. It serves a dual purpose for me because I can also host tournaments with my friends and have a fun time while trying different methods of play.

If you are wanting to learn to play well you will need to practice regularly. With the Verite program you can practice whenever you want with a click of a mouse. Personally, I also like being able to validate my play with actual cards before I play at a casino and have some fun doing it.

Go to The Gambler's General Store. They have anything that you could possibly want from custom made chips to full size craps tables. I go there when in Las Vegas but they also have an internet and mail order presence. If you can't find it with a search, let me know and I will post their web addy after I check one of their catalogs I have at home.
