Sorry about the trouble. The backend chat server is provided by addonchat.com, which is apparently down for some reason at the moment. Hopefully the outage won't be too long.

Thanks for posting that there was a glitch. I had coincidentally started to experiment with the 64-bit IExplorer, and then when the chat broke, I thought I had corrupted my system. I tried to redownload the latest Java, reboot, uninstall software, etc. Glad to know the problem was at the other end.

LOL.. I thought it was a Java fault also. Never got on.
