I think I'll pass on this one. My preference is for people who make their money playing at the table:angel:, not those who make their money trying to stop us:devil:.

I don't understand how he can be praised as a legend when he is trying to stop the AP. Isn't that backwards? Kind of like only pleying at Indian casinos because your indian? Doesn't that hurt the indians? I mean you do consider yourself an AP right? and if so you plan on taking money from where ever you gamble. (no racist remarks intended, I actually dated a Choctaw indian).

Did you read the web page? I suggest you read it again and this time with your blinders off.

BTW, since you are so quick to judge, I would suggest that your payed contributions to CBJN may also be classified as giving aid and comfort to the enemy as well as hurting AP's.

If Bill Zender was a guest, wouldn't you like to chat with him? His views promote good games & good rules for us to play, knowing damn well that only a small percentage over the long road beat the store. The better the game, the faster the conditions, the more the house rakes in.

His expertise in surveillance actually helps our style of play as he is well aware that a few have to win to keep attracting the many whom lose.

I don't know anything about Michael Barnett, but if he can help our cause at the tables by offering tidbits of info you can't find anywhere else, why not be there?

I've been curious about this for a while now, so hopefully someone can explain it.
How do you know the person on the other end of the keyboard is whom he claims he is?

You have no way of knowing for sure.

The guest has a special password, and other than that you must trust Pro21, myself, and the guest. Judge for yourself. Be there or be square.

Other than that one never does know, unless you attend the "BASH" and players get to know you firsthand. For all I know you are a polygamous Mormon living in the hills of Utah running off to Wendover every few months.:)

I trust the guest exactly as much as he trusts me.

That's so funny because that's exactly a cover act I have used in Wendover! Does anyone know where I can buy that magic Mormon underwear?

Ultimately I think it really doesn't matter. You read posts on these boards, or you talk to people in the chat room, and you either learn something or you don't. You learn whose posts you want to read, and whose you ignore.

While I mostly agree with this, a "guest" coming on for a half hour chat has no time to build an online resume to see if they are giving good advice or bad. We've had plenty of posers show up here and it often takes days or weeks before they expose themselves as such.

I enjoy the hour and half sessions + we have had in the past. If the guest is an imposter, than there will be much debate, which has not happened yet. If the guest is the real thing, as the past sessions have demonstrated, it's a great experience.

Not a single guest refrained from answering our questions. The last time I asked a book a question or told it I didn't understand, the book didn't reply with a clearer response.

These are great sessions that too many of the members here are missing. Maybe that's better, than I can ask more questions. :)
