this really begs the question of who goes into the high roller area for a longer amount of time: the advantage player or the clueless player? This is really where, if unchecked, the most amount of damage (either good or bad) can be done to the bottom line.

I think there are more average people playing high limit then card counters. If the majority were card counters or even 20% the casinos would be a lot more tight on those games as well. I don't think the people are necessarly clueless, they just have a lot of money. If you make $30,000/yr a $10 or $25 table is fun for you, if you make $300,000/yr you might need high limits to get your fix. I remember a thread from before where it was estimated there are only a couple hundred professional counters in Vegas (or maybe it was the entire US), if you compare that number to the total number of players its likely counters make up a very small percentage even at high limit tables.

Blackjack was probably the most popular game in the casino in the past but now its definitely poker and the slots. Both games which the casino has very little to worry about in terms of losing its own bankroll.
